Wooden chalet in Hohentauern with sauna

This detached, luxurious wooden chalet for a maximum of 8 people is located in the middle of the village of Hohentauern on a sunny slope with an impressive panoramic view over the mountains, the ski lift and the village.
The chalet is fully equipped and offers a spacious living room, a modern fully equipped kitchen, four bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large wooden sun terrace. There are also many extras such as the sauna, a luxurious shower and a wonderful bathtub. Parking is available directly at the chalet.
The ski lift to the well-known and traditional family ski area Ski Hohentauern with 11 kilometers of slopes is only 200m away and various hiking trails are right on the doorstep. In every season, the chalet and the immediate surroundings offer you and your family the opportunity to enjoy an active and relaxing holiday.
Summer is best known for the many lakes, thermal baths and the impressive Hohe Tauern mountain range. The more than 200 days of sunshine per year and the snow-sure ski area make this area a perfect holiday region at any time of the year.
The reception in the Almdorf can only be reached by telephone on Wednesdays.

It was our sixth stay at this destination. The cottages are perfectly equipped, we never had any problems. Kerstin and Jochen are fantastic hosts. On our last visit we couldn't find the WiFi password and then how to turn on the heating. In both cases, Jochen arrived immediately and showed and explained everything to us (we got along well, even though we don't speak German, only a little English). I definitely recommend using this destination for your vacation.

We have been going skiing for several years in the same area. Beautiful environment. Super furnished chalets. Equipped with every comfort. Walking distance to ski slope.

Welcome and chalet were fine. Hohentauern is a small ski village where there is not much to do. However, the chalet park is very nice right on the ski slope.
Accomodation was fine and the location is magnificent
We were very satisfied. The ski area is small, but highly recommended. No waiting, nice lift staff, no crowds on the slopes. The chalet has everything you need. The equipment is very high. From the living room you can on the lift see he is about 150m. We (2 families with 4 children) have always made lunch in the chalet. A small village shop where you can pick and rolls, is within walking distance. And in the restaurant pass, right at the base of the lift, we have prima fed. We were certainly not the last time there.
