This modern apartment for a maximum of 5 people is located in a holiday home on the edge of the center of the historic town of Eberndorf in southern Carinthia, near Lake Klopein.
The apartment is on the first floor and has a large living room with dining table, an open well-equipped kitchen, 2 spacious bedrooms, bathroom and a balcony. From the large communal garden you have a view of the beautiful mountains and can walk directly into the adjacent forest.
Eberndorf belongs to the Völkermarkt district in Carinthia, the region near the Slovenian border primarily offers nature and mountains. The MTB Bike Park Petzen and the Petzen / Feistritz ob Bleiburg ski area with 15 kilometers of slopes, a perfect ski area for beginners, snowboarders and recreational skiers are only 5 minutes away by car. You can jump into the cool water at the lido on Lake Klopein, which is only 20 minutes away by car.
There are plenty of shopping opportunities for your daily needs directly in town or in Völkermarkt.

The accommodation does not have a large living room as indicated, it is a converted bedroom which also includes a small kitchen unit. The text modern kitchen is then out of place. In addition, there are many flies. this is due to a compost heap in the garden.
The house has almost everything you need. Unfortunately no dishwasher, but washing by hand can also be fine. Meanwhile, it also has a flat screen TV. The living space is small, but good in itself. The beds were reasonable and when showering you have to take into account the fact that it is connected to a (proper) water heater. The disadvantage was that with a heatwave it is quite warm and can be aired, only you have to take mosquitoes into account. The landlords are very nice and service-oriented and live a few blocks away. The swimming pool in Völkermarkt at 10 minutes is fun and long open. Walking, for example, is good in the mountains to the south of the village, eg at Petzen with the cable car. Burg Hochosterwitz, Klagenfurt (lookout tower) and Villach are great trips. The Obirhöhle is not spectacular, the ride there with a bus on the other hand makes up for it. The KärntenCard we have amply removed and can be obtained at the Tourist Office in Eberndorf.
Everything was perfect! Great accomodation with everything that belongs to it and even more (for example table tennis, bicycles, etc ..) If you like nature, will love the area. Very friendly landlord, who also like to give insider tips.
