This cozy detached alpine hut/chalet for a maximum of 6 people is located in Bad Kleinkirchheim in Carinthia, in the middle of the forests and a short distance from the Sankt Oswald gondola in the beautiful ski area of Bad Kleinkirchheim with over 100 kilometers of slopes.
The alpine hut/chalet with garden has a spacious living/dining room with dining table, a well-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms (2 with 1 double bed each and 1 with 2 single beds), a bathroom, a covered terrace and a sauna. You can park directly at the chalet.
Bad Kleinkirchheim promises true sunshine moments on vacation. In addition to skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ice skating or winter hiking, 2 thermal baths (Thermal Römerbad and Therme St. Kathrein) invite you to immerse yourself. Bad Kleinkirchheim also offers an 18-hole golf course, many shops for everyday needs and a good selection of restaurants. The Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area offers 103 kilometers of slopes and 24 cable cars and lifts, a kids slope, snow park and 4 ski schools.
In summer, Millstätter See, Ossiacher See, Afritzer See or the outdoor pool in Radenthein offer lots of swimming fun!

It is a nice house in a beautiful place, with neighbors on one side only, so quite a bit of privacy. The cottage is well above the bustle of Bad Kleinkirchem and directly on two marked hiking trails into the mountains. The house is decorated with dead animals (which can also be seen in the photos): deer antlers with and without skulls, animal skins and stuffed animals, we counted at least 40 in and around the house. Furthermore, because of all the personal items (especially the family photos that hang everywhere) you have the feeling that you are visiting. However, the wifi in the house did not work. There was a modem/router, but when you logged in to it you got the message: “Ihr Datentarif ist nicht aktiv”. Furthermore, there was more than enough firewood available, but there were no matches, firelighters or kindlings and no ax to make kindling. On both points we sent an email to the manager on the day of arrival. He responded by answering that according to him the wifi worked and that everything was there to make kindling (both without explanation or substantiation). We then emailed back that this was really not the case. Heard nothing from the manager after that. Because we didn't want to let this spoil our holiday, we took no further action after that. We solved the problem with the WiFi via our telephone, which fortunately had just enough range to be able to use the internet a bit and the supermarket was open again on Monday and we could buy matches and firelighters / wood fires ourselves. There is also discarded household goods around the house and in the woodshed. There are also broken things in the house (including backrest chair, flashing lighting) and that is a shame and unnecessary. The communication or rather the lack of it has disturbed us quite a bit. If this could be improved and the other points resolved, it would be a fantastic house in a fantastic location
Great house with beautiful surroundings. I am definitely still thinking about coming back in the winter.
