Description

This delightful terraced house is one of the luxurious, semi-detached lodges. You can unwind in the sauna and the cosy living room is excellent for a cosy evening with the whole family. The large windows provide stunning views of the mountains. The accommodation also has a balcony, a ski storage room and a table football game. This will be a top holiday!

Wald-Königsleiten is located between 3 famous ski areas: the Zillertal Arena, Wildkogel Arena and the Kitzbühel ski area. The Zillertal Arena and Kitzbühel ski areas are ideal for those who want to cover many kilometres on the slopes. In contrast, the Wildkogel Arena ski area is ideal for families with children. Are you more of a lover of cross-country skiing? Right by the chalet is the 200 km cross-country skiing network of the Pinzgau Valley. In winter, this whole valley is fantastic and has plenty of beauty to offer, such as the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area in Kaprun. Bramberg is home to Europe's longest winter toboggan run.

There is also plenty to do in the summer in this region. With its location right next to the national park, this location lends itself perfectly to beautiful walks or mountain bike rides. A babbling brook flows behind the garden. Here you can cool off, or take a dip in the Kristall pool. A stone's throw away are the famous Krimmler waterfalls. These are Europe's largest waterfalls with an impressive fall height of 380 metres. The car route over the Gerlos Pass or the Grossglockner is also worthwhile

July 2024

Fine and large holiday home. This is the second year we have booked this property. It felt like coming home! Fully furnished and fully equipped.

May 2024

We had very nice days in the Pinzgau Lodge 2D. Well-equipped holiday home (washing machine, tumble dryer, filter and capsule coffee machine, microwave, ...). There is no barbecue, but if you bring your own there is plenty of space on the lawn/terrace. The lawn is also perfect for football, badminton etc. We can recommend the holiday home and would be happy to come back.

February 2024

We stayed with 6 adults and 4 children. The boiler was not adequate in terms of the number of people to take hot showers. The last 2/3 had cold/warm water.

December 2023

Lovely stay with now for the holidays a personal message from the owners. Cosy decor and furnishings.

October 2023

Great new house, nice furnishings, good and quiet location. However, the living area is quite cramped for 10 people. Unfortunately, the fridge and the dishes were very dirty, so we had to pre-wash them. Also, the dressers and cupboards were dusty.

July 2023

Fantastic house, great location near several hiking trails and in the middle of nature. The babbling water at the back of the garden the dog absolutely loves! For us, definitely a house to go back to again.

June 2023

Beautiful house with high quality furnishings.

May 2023

Almost everything was perfect. Good equipment in the kitchen with very new pans and pots, nice crockery and cutlery. The children had a lot of fun on the lawn and the playground. A few things need to be improved: the description says that you have to bring dish towels. Please add that you also need to bring toilet paper. We had never experienced this in any other house. Weeks before, we asked if there was a filter coffee machine in addition to the Nespresso coffee machine. We were told that unfortunately not. So we brought our own. But there was already one there, it is part of the basic equipment of all houses, the caretaker service explained to us. There was no bedding for the 3-year-old child. The caretaker explained to us that he had been told that it was a baby. However, we gave all the birth dates of the 9 travellers in advance. In the Villa for you info folder there is an inventory list (in Dutch).Unfortunately nobody checks it. We informed Villa for you and the caretaker service that we only had 6 coffee spoons for 9 people, but nothing happened. Other things like a second water carafe were also missing.

April 2023

Lovely Location and house fully equipped.

March 2023

Bathrooms not cleaned. Dishes and kitchen surfaces not cleaned. No seating on the balconies Mattresses very soft. Otherwise a very nice place to stay. Handing over the keys worked.

February 2023

Lovely accommodation and a good location. Did expect, though, that service would come by once during the week for e.g. towels. House itself stuff and span and brand new.

February 2023

Great comfortable holiday home, everything perfect. We can recommend the property to others.

February 2023

The booking was uncomplicated and fast.We can recommend the object.Good equipment of the kitchen Good location.Sauna and relaxation room very nice. A little lack of cleanliness.

January 2023

As the houses are very poorly insulated, you could hardly sleep as the noise and parties were audible from all sides. Furthermore, there was no hoover or broom to clean the house yourself in between.

December 2022

Everything was perfect, the only drawback was that the chalet was completely in the shade at this time of year.

November 2022

Luxurious furnishings and very quiet location

September 2022

Very nice cottage, clean and well equipped.always happy to come back.

August 2022

We were the first official holidaymakers in this house and in this respect had to deal with some shortcomings/children's illnesses, which will hopefully be remedied as soon as possible - if this is possible. After all, we found out 2 days before our arrival that the house was habitable. Villa for You has to take the blame for the fact that they were forced to rebook us at relatively short notice from another (no longer available) accommodation, but then gave little or no meaningful response to questions that went beyond the usual email correspondence (booking confirmation, etc.). In addition, they did not manage to send us a guest card within 2 weeks of our arrival, which we had already requested before the start of our trip and which, according to the local tourist office, must be issued! The house itself is of course fine - how could it be otherwise in a newly constructed building - but there was probably a rather ambitious architect/planner at work who obviously lacked a practical counterpart. The first thing to criticise is the unfortunately rather feeble use of some motion detectors in some of the lighting! These are used in the hallway and partly in the basement. In principle, the idea of saving electricity may be connected with this... but when the switching times are so short (approx. 5 seconds), it is simply annoying. Intelligently, the lighting of the staircases can only be operated with light switches, which you usually forget to switch off again because you are so annoyed by the motion detectors. During the day, you would hardly need any light in the hallway, but the motion detectors ALWAYS switch on. If you want to tie your shoes at a darker time of day (without fidgeting all the time), the lighting switches on and off at least 5 times. Even more stupid is this arrangement in the basement room with the washing machine and dryer, where you have to wave wildly every few seconds because otherwise you can't see anything at all. If this description seems exaggerated, please see for yourself! Another architecturally questionable feature are the sliding doors in the lower bedrooms that open onto the terrace. If you like to sleep with a breath of fresh air, you have no chance in these rooms, unless you leave the house open for everyone. The terrace or the property is in no way separated from the adjacent meadow, so people and animals (and there are quite a few of them on the surrounding farms) can come and go unhindered. Windows can only be tilted on the upper floor... and if you had the idea to leave the doors of the quite small rooms open instead, there were the highly sensitive motion detectors in the hallway! In the house itself, it should be noted as a problem that the large living, cooking and dining area can unfortunately only be dimly lit. This may be quite nice from a romantic point of view, but reading something at the dining table or anywhere else in this room is hardly possible. Even during the day, the incidence of light is limited by the large roof overhang and the continuous dark wooden panelling on the ceiling, so that sufficient lighting would also be desirable. In addition, the two retro LED bulbs used above the dining table showed irregular, shaky flickering, but this could actually also be a defect. Also perhaps defective was the exhaust air system of the only bathroom inside, as the mirror was completely tarnished after only 2 minutes of showering. It didn't get any faster without an exhaust system. After barely 2 weeks, the kitchen lighting was defective and a screw on a handle of the balcony door was broken off. Hopefully this is not a reference for the quality of the entire house, which is actually beautifully situated... as long as the Salzach stays where it should. The last - small - point of criticism is the foosball table, which is in the basement. Apart from the fact that the light sometimes went out while playing (insensitive motion detectors in this room), the table was unfortunately assembled the wrong way round. Normally you always play from left to right, here from right to left... The house is in a beautiful and quiet location, almost a bit out of the way, but you can do everything on foot if you want to. There are plenty of parking spaces right next to the house and even some charging stations for e-cars (for a fee). There is also a separate shelter for bicycles and the keys are handed over contactless via a key box. There are 3 bathrooms in the house and an additional shower next to the sauna. The kitchen is fully equipped, although spices and other small items are missing, which make spontaneous cooking possible only after an extensive bulk purchase. Only the dishwasher seems flimsy and does not really fit in with the otherwise high-quality look of the kitchen. So if you like sleeping in small bedrooms with the windows closed and don't have any problems with overzealous and clearly audible clacking motion detectors, you can have a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing holiday in this house!
