Luxurious chalet with sauna
Kreischberg, Steiermark, Austria
This luxurious and newly built chalet is located near the Kreischberg ski area in the versatile holiday region of Murau-Kreischberg. You don't need a car for this holiday, as the centre of St. Lorenzen and also the lifts and slopes are within walking distance. This chalet, built to the most modern standards, is detached so that you can enjoy your privacy. Of course, parking spaces are also available
In winter, the snow-sure Kreischberg family skiing area with more than 40 kilometres of slopes is at your disposal with a total of 14 lifts and a fun park. There are also numerous opportunities for cross-country skiers and winter hikers.
In summer you can make wonderful trips on the Mur cycle path or hike in the mountains. The nature of this region is colourful with green mountains and blue lakes, and the offer is just as colourful. From workshops to adventurous hikes in the Murau mountains to traditional festivals and extensive cultural programmes, there is something for every holiday guest.
There is plenty to do for the active holidaymaker in both summer and winter. Since this region has not yet been discovered by mass tourism, you can enjoy peace and relaxation here

Great house, we felt very comfortable. The sauna and variety of bathrooms are ideal for a larger family or group. The living room, kitchen and dining area are very spacious and cosy (plus the leather couch). Otherwise everything was available.
We spent a wonderful week's holiday in this well-equipped house in St. Georgen ob Murau/Kreischberg! Elegant and very high-quality furnishings, very clean, more than enough crockery and cooking utensils available! Really everything TOP!!! The only small criticism: the parasol with a diameter of approx. 120cm for a large table for 10-12 people is definitely far too small. The terrace was hardly usable in midsummer as it was in the sun until sunset. This circumstance can easily be remedied! Each house has its own enclosed garden - and each terrace faces in the same direction, so you can use it undisturbed with privacy! To summarise: absolutely recommended, we will definitely be back!
No 5/5, as a little more attention could be paid to cleanliness. Unfortunately, our fridge was also turned off and took a very long time to get cold in summer at 30 degrees. The barbecue is unfortunately far too small for 10 people.
The welcome was very nice. Rooms were nice and big and clean. Nice kitchen and large dining table. Ideal for travelling groups who want to sit together in the evening.
How much we enjoyed this very complete house! Luxurious and nice and clean.
Perfect chalet for several couples due to ensuite bathrooms at each bedroom. Beautiful materials and finishes, super-equipped kitchen and very clean. Highly recommended!
