Wooden chalet in Hohentauern / Styria with sauna

This beautiful, detached wooden chalet for a maximum of 8 people is located in the village of Hohentauern in Styria, on a sunny slope with impressive views of the mountains, the ski lift and the village.
The chalet offers a spacious living area with a sofa bed and dining table, an open fully equipped modern kitchen and a bathroom on the ground floor, on the first floor there are 4 bedrooms and another bathroom with a sauna. The chalet also has a power shower, washing machine and wooden terrace. There is a hot tub outside that can be rented on site upon request. You can park directly at the chalet.
The chalet is about 200 m from the center and the ski lift. The area is beautiful for hiking and cycling. The Sonnberg lifts – Wald am Schoberpass are 14.2 km away, the Stadtwald lift – Rottenmann 13 km. Summer is best known for the many lakes, thermal baths and the impressive Hohe Tauern mountain range. The more than 200 days of sunshine per year and the snow-sure ski area make this area a perfect holiday region at any time of the year.
The ski lift to the well-known and traditional family ski area Ski Hohentauern with 11 kilometers of slopes is only 300m away and various hiking trails are right on the doorstep. In every season, the chalet and the immediate surroundings offer you and your family the opportunity to enjoy an active and relaxing holiday.
The reception in the Almdorf can only be reached by telephone on Wednesdays.

The house fully corresponds to the description. The ski slopes and the small shop are within walking distance (even with children). The house was handed over very clean. Unfortunately, two small comments still need to be made: The kitchen equipment is unfortunately somewhat inadequate. Although there were more than 8 schnapps glasses, there were only 4 drinking glasses, and also a few mugs, etc. The second point concerns the shower in the upstairs bathroom: Unfortunately, it is a bit broken, hangs crookedly and is therefore not completely tight. For these reasons a small deduction. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed our stay as two families and would recommend the house at any time, as I am sure that the comments will be resolved easily and quickly.

The cottage is highly recommended to relax for a few days. Spacious, clean and especially the jacuzzi is really fantastic. We will definitely book the house again, we really had a great holiday.

Very nice complete house in a magical place with a view of the mountains. Jacuzzi on the terrace is a wonderful extra! Few minuses: * Wooden terrace splinters enormously. Very dramatic for small children who crawl or walk barefoot so in the summer they can only go outside with long clothes, shoes and gloves. * No possibility to hang the shower head in both bathrooms. That's not so nice. * House is high, so the temperature is always a lot lower. Booking via belvilla goes very smoothly and everything / everyone is ready to push / help you to complete the booking. However, if you find out the same day that you made a small mistake, you have a huge problem. Then suddenly no one is home and you get, you are sent from pillar to post and after you have called, emailed, chatted, written countless times, months later a dismissive email in which everything is briefly wiped off the table with the childish well-known fine print. There is no understanding / compassion and that is quite stupid of such a company that seems to have everything in order on the outside.
Reception on the hotel Passhöhe very good. Lovely and very comfortable chalet. Would definitely go there again
+ points nice chalet, clean, nice view, good wifi, Wörschachklamm visited, Hallstatt very beautiful points gravel road to chalet full of deep wells and very dusty or muddy, no lighting at park, no ironing board nor iron, little privacy because help is 3 x unexpectedly crawled over the terrace to give flowers water, owner has come knocking on the kitchen window 2 times to do chlorine tablets in jacuzzi and just took our kitchen role and a man came to take the meter reading of the water. I think they should let you know in advance.
Went for a F1 weekend, circuit 45km further, great base. Relaxed enjoy a beautiful view from the jacuzzi. Clean and spacious house. Small restaurant within walking distance. The mountain 10 minutes by car you are in the village, supermarket and restaurants.
It was very, very clean, great facilities and absolutely nice service! A place to relax and unwind!
Very tidy chalet. Spacious and comfortable. Plus the beautiful jacuzzi. Beautiful green surroundings with many possibilities for hiking. Not very touristy.
ACCOMPANYED AT KEY HOLDER FOR OUR CHALET, FINE RECEPTION AND CLEAR EXTENSION. THE HOLIDAY RENTAL WAS SUPERMITTED AND NETWORKS CONSIDERED. COMPLETE BEAUTIFUL ENVIRONMENT AND FINE VIEWS FROM OUR TERRACE.
Beautifully situated and easily accessible chalet.Heel comfortable with all amenities. Jacuzzi on deck is certainly a value. People Hotel Passhöhe (key manager) literally do everything to help the guests.
This was my first holiday in a cottage - Chalet. The booking via Belvilla was very simple and straightforward. The chalet was very clean and well maintained. everything worked fine on site. The administrator warning immediately on the spot if you have used it. Overall a wonderful holiday with friends.

Very clean cottage! All comfort is present. We have stayed with four persons in a chalet for eight people. For 8 people, it is perhaps slightly too klein.De chalets therefore stand much closer to the picture
A super house equipped with sauna and Jacuzzi. A nice area with nice walking trails. The week was too fast.
