Modern chalet with sauna near Königsleiten

These modern, detached chalets are part of a holiday village in Wald im Pinzgau. Located only 1 km from the Zillertal Arena, the largest ski area in the Zillertal Valley, where you can indulge in cross-country skiing, tobogganing, ice-skating and other winter sports as well. The chalet is built against a mountain and offers both a swimming pool and a sauna, plus a balcony with garden furniture, with a beautiful view of the mountains. There are 2 parking spaces in the nearby parking garage at your disposal.
Neukirchen is easily accessible at 5 km while and Kitzbühel - Kirchberg is only an hour’s drive away. Restaurants can be found only 100 m away while groceries can be availed only 500 at the city centre. Berchtesgaden National Park is 117 km away where you will find natural scenery, wildlife and great hiking paths. Grossglockner in the Hohe Tauern range is 89 km away.

The accommodation is very nice, but there were a few small things that made my rating not more positive. Unfortunately, there was a plague of flies that really took the fun out of staying comfortably in the accommodation. Unfortunately, we were not informed about this in advance. The problem could easily be solved by installing fly screens in front of all windows and balcony doors. We vacuumed over 100 flies in 15 minutes. In addition, the toilet in the basement does not have a sink, which can often be very annoying. The house was superficially clean, but on closer inspection it was noticeable that it was only superficially. Otherwise, the accommodation is really beautiful, very modern and the location is really great. Great views, walking distance to the main shops and a swimming pool is also 5 houses away.
We were very happy with the accommodation and had a great week! It was a bit annoying that we only knew two weeks in advance which object it was going to be. It then became the "snow rose". The basement with the bedrooms is unheated in summer, so it is a bit damp near the floor. Overall, the house is very nice and modern. Nine of them can barely get there with two toilets. The kitchen is very well equipped. Sauna was ok, but only for two and nobody can lie down. Very good beds / mattresses! Overall everything was good and very good value for the area.
