Description
This beautifully situated holiday home is located in Afritz am See in Carinthia, in the beautiful "Gegendtal", south of Verditz and offers a fantastic view over the valley. The holiday home has four comfortably furnished apartments.
This apartment for a maximum of 4 people is approx. 55 m2 in size and is located on the second floor. It has a double bedroom, a living room with an open kitchen and a sofa bed for two more people. This apartment also offers a bathroom with a shower and toilet and a balcony with a beautiful view. The holiday home and the surrounding area are a true paradise - for both children and adults. You can reach Lake Afritz in 8 minutes and Villach in 25 minutes.
In summer you can relax on the lawn or have a barbecue in the evening. Early risers will be rewarded with a fairytale view over the Karawanken. You can go on beautiful hikes or visit one of the lakes in the area. If the sun doesn't shine for a day, you can visit one of the museums or go swimming in the thermal baths.
If you strap on your skis full of energy in winter after breakfast, the ski lifts are not far away. The ski resorts of Bad Kleinkirchheim, Gerlitzen and the border triangle are all in the area and provide a lot of variety. The little ones are in the best hands on the Gerlitzen. After a wonderful day of winter sports, you can pamper yourself in the warm thermal springs of Bad Kleinkirchheim.

We have been warmly welcomed by the owner, from the location really a beautiful view! We have enjoyed 2 weeks of this, contents is simple but sufficient. This location is a pleasure for the peace seeker, only local traffic. Below a few donkeys, goats and sheep we were looking forward to. A disadvantage that our neighbors could watch from their room. But the 1st week we were alone and the second week we have seen the neighbors very little. A recommendation is wifi on our own floor, now we had to walk downstairs, in the spacious hall with chairs we had wifi. The area is beautiful, also nice to visit the city of Villach, possibly the bad weather, the beautiful shopping center Atrio. Still had delicious homemade cake from the lady of the house. Enough opportunities from this location, both walking and by car cable car Gerlitzen, also beautiful etc. All in all, we had a good time to our liking.

Our stay (two weeks in August 2012) was a hit. Carinthia is a beautiful region that has something to offer for every heeft.We were very kindly received by the very helpful owner who lives on the ground floor, the apartment was in order and with a magnificent view over the valley towards Villach and Karavanke! A very good service: - sandwiches can be ordered and are updated by the baker in the village brought to the house, the owner hangs them in a bag at the door of the apartment. However, we did not use that service there are two shops within 5 minutes' drive ... - sheets and towels were replaced several times when we "came back in the evening, without even asking, the last night we were treated by the owner on homemade cake A few minuses: - there is no internet available in the house (we had overlooked unfortunately) - despite a separation between our balcony and the other apartment on our floor gave the window of the living room of this other apartment on our terrace, which did not benefit our privacy and we took away the desire to eat on the terrace ... Conclusion: highly recommended!
