When booking

How do I book a holiday home through Ferienhaus-Tirol.eu?
Via our website
On the page with the description of the house, click on an available period and then on "Book your stay".

Fill in your data, select any additional services.
Check the cost overview. Check your details again. Click on "Confirm booking".
The successful booking will be confirmed. You will immediately receive a booking confirmation by e-mail.

Can I also book by phone?
Yes, you can book the desired holiday home by telephone. Please contact us then. Please have the house code ready. After booking, you will immediately receive a booking confirmation by e-mail.

What, how and when do I have to pay?
Your will pay in two instalments:

The deposit of 20 to 35% (depending on the partner) will be applied to the total price of the trip. 
This deposit is due after booking.

The balance (65-80%) is due 4 to 6 weeks before arrival.
If you book less than 6 weeks before arrival, the total amount is due immediately. 

Depending on the holiday home provider, payment can be made by bank transfer, credit card, Paypal, etc. The payment methods available in each case will be shown to you in the booking confirmation.

Can I get a catalogue?
On our website you will find more than 4,000 holiday homes in Austria. Each holiday home is provided with a detailed description, the price and the current availability. As our website is always more up-to-date than a catalogue, we do not offer a catalogue. However, if you need help finding a suitable holiday home, please contact us. We will be happy to help you!

Where can I find the cancellation conditions?
You will find the cancellation conditions in the General Terms and Conditions. During the booking process you have to accept the general terms and conditions including the cancellation conditions. You will therefore find the General Terms and Conditions even before your final booking.

Why does the price change if I increase the number of persons?
The rental price changes in this case due to the costs depending on the number of persons, such as bed linen and tourist tax.

Does a baby also count as a full person of the whole travel group?
No distinction is made between adults, children and infants. Only the entire persons are counted. In most cases, however, the number of persons may be exceeded by 1 or 2 babies aged 0 to 2 years. In this case, this will be noted on the booking page.
Any other exceptions will be explicitly mentioned in the description of the holiday home.

The maximum number of persons per accommodation is always clearly indicated and may not be exceeded for insurance reasons.

How can I be sure that my booking was successful?
As soon as you click on 'Confirm booking' on the booking page, you will receive a confirmation email from us. Immediately afterwards you will receive the booking confirmation from our partner. If you do not receive a confirmation from us, e.g. because you mistyped your e-mail address, please contact us. We will then check your booking.

I have not received a booking confirmation. What do I do?
If you have not received any documents from us or our partner after your booking, please contact us,
We will then check your email address. We will then see to it that everything gets sorted out.
Please also check your spam folder. Sometimes mails end up there.

What are the arrival and departure times?
You can pick up the key for your holiday home in the afternoon of the day of arrival. As a rule, you are expected between 16:00-18:00 on the day of arrival and must leave the holiday home before 10:00 on the day of departure, unless otherwise stated in your travel documents. You will find the exact time for key collection in your travel documents.

How do we get the key?
You will find how and where to get the key in your travel documents. This contains the address details of the holiday home, details of the key handover and an emergency number.

We are arriving later, is that possible?
If you wish to arrive outside the standard arrival times, please notify us in advance. You will find the telephone number in your travel documents. In general, however, this is not a problem.

We are bringing a pet with us. What do we need to consider?
As proof of a valid rabies vaccination, you must carry a passport for your dog or cat when travelling within Europe. Please clarify any questions about travelling abroad with your pet with your vet.
