Kühtai is located in the heart of Tyrol, about 35 kilometres west of Innsbruck. It is easily accessible via the A12 motorway and the L237 country road. For those coming by public transport, there are regular bus connections from Innsbruck.
The Kühtai ski resort has 14 lifts, including a gondola lift, chairlifts and 3 drag lifts, which take skiers to the various slopes. There are also several ski schools and rental shops where you can rent equipment or book lessons. Besides the ski slopes, Kühtai offers a halfpipe, a snowpark and opportunities for night skiing.

There is a total of 47 kilometres of slopes in Kühtai, divided into different levels of difficulty. From easy blue runs for beginners to challenging black runs for experienced skiers, there is something for everyone. The best-known slopes are the "Hohe Mut" and the "Drei-Seen-Abfahrt".
Thanks to its altitude, Kühtai enjoys a long ski season from December to April with reliable snow conditions. The average snow depth is around 1 metre, but there can also be up to 2 metres of snow. The weather is usually cold and clear, ideal for skiing and snowboarding.
