The large ski area Ski Amadé
The range of lifts is modern and there are practically no waiting times. The slopes are located on the mountain slopes of the Kreuzkogel (2026 mtr) and Fulseck (2033 mtr).
Skischaukel Dorfgastein-Großarltal falls under the large ski area Ski Amadé. For freestylers, there is a snowpark. And for children, there are plenty of options such as ski kindergarten, children's carousel, running belt lift and a children's lift. The area also has 3 stars for cross-country skiing and winter hiking.
The village of Grossarl is not too big but still has 25 restaurants, 17 bars & cafés and 1 disco. Well-known après ski tents are Piccolo and Schirmbar Auhof-Treff. Several mountain restaurants are located along the slopes.
Other options offered by the village include: sauna, fitness centre, indoor swimming pool, paragliding, outdoor ice rink, curling and a toboggan run. All in all, there is more than enough to do here for a wonderful holiday in Austria!
