The price-performance ratio is not right. Everything looks much bigger and more modern in the pictures. There are partly strangers in the house, and the doors to the rooms cannot be locked. That's unacceptable.
The house is modern and contemporary. We didn't miss anything essential. On the first night there were still two strangers in the attic flat. As all rooms in the holiday flat and the attic flat are accessed via the same staircase, this is information that must be included in the description. This was not mentioned in any way! There is water damage in the common room in the basement due to inadequate sealing In one bathroom, tiles are coming off the wall - also water damage The inner handle on the sauna door is torn off The stones in the sauna heater are not sauna stones or are not suitable for the heater. In our case, glowing hot stones were thrown through the air twice. An absolute risk, this must not happen and it is definitely not funny! But otherwise everything is fine. The rooms are functional, unfortunately in one room the bathroom door can only be opened 60', then it bumps against the bed The beds are comfortable, the pillows rather less so. So it makes sense to have your own pillow with you The good thing is that each room has its own bathroom There used to be squeegees in the showers (walk in) to remove the water from the floor. Unfortunately, there were only remnants left. They would really make sense. The dining area is large enough for 16 people. Suggestion: mount a wooden moulding on the wall at the height of the upper edge of the chair backs. Then there won't be those unsightly smudges on the wall A hook rail on the inside of the room doors would be very nice. It was not so easy to hang up all the ski equipment every evening to air out and dry. The disco light in the rooms doesn't really have to be... A nice warm white - then it would be great indirect lighting. But as we all know, taste is debatable... The large centre block in the kitchen is really practical!
Positive: The location of the holiday home is good, the ski bus is close by and quickly accessible. The kitchen was clean and easy to use. Negatives: What we didn't like We were in the house with 9 people (8 adults and a small child). According to the provider, the house is designed for up to 16 people, which we cannot understand, as it was already very cramped with our group size. The bedrooms and bathrooms in particular offered hardly any room to move due to the additional bunk beds. The overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The dining table was sticky and there was a lot of leftover food between the wooden slats. The oven and the skirting boards in the living area were very dirty. The hoover smelled unpleasant and there was no broom to sweep. In some bathrooms, tiles were damaged and sockets were partially torn out, which is not only annoying but also questionable.
Kleinarl is a wonderful little village. From here you can go hiking, a very worthwhile destination is the Jaegersee. The Charlet is very large and spacious. The furnishings are modern and all the important utensils are available in sufficient quantities.
