You're sure to feel at home in this modern apartment at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range! Whether summer or winter, this apartment is a wonderful base for exploring the Kitzbühel Alps and enjoying the cozy, welcoming Austrian atmosphere.
Located on the ground floor, the apartment was completely renovated in 2019 and features modern furnishings. The elegantly furnished living room, modern kitchen, and contemporary bathroom are just a few examples. From the living room, you can access the garden and enjoy the surroundings from the sun-drenched terrace. Both bedrooms are furnished with a double bed, and one of the bedrooms also includes a bunk bed. Parking is available for a fee.
Major ski resorts such as St. Johann, Kitzbühel, Waidring-Steinplatte, and Ellmau-Scheffau are in the immediate vicinity. A small, family-run ski area is located directly in Kirchdorf. In summer, you can explore the numerous hiking and mountain biking trails. The Kaiserquell wellness center is located right next to the apartment, and the Wilder Käser cheese dairy is just a short walk away. The spring-fed fish ponds in nearby Schwendt offer fishing fun for the whole family. There is also an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts.

The cottage was quite okay and we had a nice time, but the photos were nicer than it actually was. Everything was a bit damaged, the walls, stains on the couch, stains on the heater, just not clean, etc. The BBQ, garden furniture cushions, and parasol were not there; after inquiring, we were fortunately able to arrange the parasol, but the cushions had apparently been thrown away at some point... Not a very well-equipped kitchen, just 2 wine glasses and only 1 garbage bag, which is annoying because it's so full, and no extra toilet roll or dishwasher tablet. That kind of small stuff should just be there for convenience, and I shouldn't have to buy it when I'm staying there for a few days. So definitely some points for improvement, but it is a nice place and we had a lovely few days!
Location: The apartment is on the ground floor with its own small garden in the holiday resort of Gasteig. Only about 10 minutes downhill by car is St. Johann with its wide range of shops and restaurants. Meals: There is an inn in town, a café right next door, the show dairy at the Wilder Kaiser with a shop about 5 minutes' walk away. A bread delivery service can be used in the morning. Supervision: The good soul Barbara is on hand with advice and action; Room layout: living/dining area with kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and separate toilet, ideal size for us (6 people);
We had a really nice time in the apartment in Kirchdorf which is actually in the Gasteig district 3km away. But that doesn't detract from the good situation. Everything can be easily reached from the apartment. You are also very well looked after. Dear Barbara does everything to ensure that nothing is missing. The equipment of the apartment is very good, everything is there that you need.
The Wilder Kaiser is perfect as a holiday region. Many cable cars can be used and a variety of hiking trails are available. Only the location of the apartment is bad. Not in Kirchdorf at all! But on the mountain in Gasteig. No bakery or restaurant nearby! Every time you have to drive down from the mountain first. It's frustrating. The apartment is no longer an option for us.
