You will find rest and relaxation in Steeg at the upper end of the Lech Valley.
At the foot of the majestic local mountain Pimig is the small village of Steeg at 1,122 m above sea level. The community is located in the Lech Valley between the Lechtal and Allgäu Alps on the well-known Lechweg, a long-distance hiking trail through the entire Lech Valley to Füssen. Summer and winter in the Lechtal offers everything you can expect from an active holiday for two, with family or with friends.
In summer, tackle a challenging MTB tour from Steeg to Lech am Arlberg and Formarinsee, covering 32 km with over 800 meters in elevation. After the tough ride, relax at Freiburger Hütte with a snack and a drink. Nature lovers can also enjoy the MTB route to Krabachtal or valley hikes along the wild river Lech and the Lechtal Panoramaweg. Hikers can follow the Höhenweg Hägerau to Holzgau, while climbers will find around 31 routes in the climbing garden in Lechleiten. Even on rainy days, Steeg offers plenty to do.
In winter:
Time for more space is the motto in the Tyrolean Lechtal, not only when winter hiking or cross-country skiing. Especially when it comes to skiing, winter lovers experience what it means to ski without the classic clichés. No crowds at the lift, no overcrowded ski slopes, but plenty of space

Perfect getaway for nature lovers, The apartment had all the essentials and a cozy ambiance
Low-key loved the spaciousness, Everything needed was here, and the kitchen setup is great for cooking up some meals, The owner was super chill too, felt right at home
It is a nice, but small apartment. Everything you need is available + extras such as a dishwasher. The beds are comfortable. The view is beautiful. Within a 10-minute walk you can walk along the Lechweg. You can travel freely by bus and get free access to a number of activities in the region.The hostess is businesslike but approachable.I would not go there again with children.It is small and there is no garden.On the last day we were supposed to leave at 10am, but at 9.45am the hostess was together with cleaning help in front of the door and we were kindly but urgently requested to leave the accommodation.That was the most inhospitable goodbye I have had in Austria.
The apartment was spacious enough for our group, and the kids loved having their own bunk beds, We also appreciated the free Wi-Fi, which kept everyone connected during our stay
This place is a whole vibe, Super cozy and perfect for nature lovers, The views are just breathtaking and the hikes around here hit different, 10/10 would recommend for a chill getaway
