Farmhouse Brummer

Heating in general is rather poor, except the water heating. Most rooms are equipped with infrared screens, which only heat very locally resulting in hot and cold spots where it is inconvenient to bring together 8 people. Living room is equipped with a stove that is very hard to regulate well. The entrance and staircase are centrally located in the house but cannot be heated as cold are drawn in from the basement permanently. Kitchen is not designed for large groups: practically impossible to have spots for 8 people around the table. Dishwasher is very small, typical model for 2 people. Everywhere looks of the kitchen are outdated and worn out, examples are: missing panel below the oven and wood stove. Bathrooms: generally positive! As said: warm showers and bath every day for everyone. Bath mats are to be replaced as they look old/pale/miserable. Further: the dryer is defective, and there was no dedicated space to dry the skiing equipment. All in all, in my opinion the accommodation is extremely overrated with a price of most 3000 EUR for a week of renting. Too much crap, too little facilities...

Wonderful week in a characteristic Austrian house, a 5-minute drive from the slopes. Except for the creaking stairs a great holiday home.

Nice house, with 2 wood-burning stoves. Infrared heating in the other rooms. In the kitchen everything is available what is needed. The rooms are nicely furnished with fairly new furniture. Location right next to the ski bus stop (which goes to Hopfgarten at 9:15).

It is a cozy farmhouse in a very quiet part of Hopfgarten. So far we have not encountered anyone (3 days). The house is well equipped. Only we miss hooks or rods everywhere in the house to hang clothes / towels. It's a shame that all the heating elements are mounted so high. Nice days.

Equipment of the farmhouse was good. The disadvantage was that there was no terrace on the sunny south side. It was also very noisy on the terrace on the north side due to the adjacent street and the stream flowing past.

This farmhouse was a delightful getaway, The living space was bright and airy, and we appreciated the attention to detail in the decoration, It felt like home away from home!

Old and well renovated farmhouse. Everything was fine and the tiled stove swung solid heat! Great bedrooms and nice bathrooms.

When we arrived early, the house was just about to be cleaned. However, we were able to move into the house very quickly and earlier than planned.

We have made holidays with three generations in this house and we felt very comfortable! The old farmhouse is lovingly prepared. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, the living rooms are very comfortable! We were hiking during the day and in the evening heated the tiled stove and spent cozy autumn evenings in the room. Thank you for your hospitality and a very clean and well maintained accommodation!

It was just fantastic. Celebrated my 60th with the whole family. Completely informal in such a quaint and beautiful setting and this historic house; full of harmony, tranquility and stunning charm.Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Arrival was well arranged. Cot and high chair too. Beautiful old farmhouse. Enough space. We would have liked if there would also be a separate toilet. Environment was beautiful. Is there actually a piece of Austria that is not?

The kitchen is small but functional. We regret the lack of microwaves and a refrigerator and small dishwashers for housing designed for large families.The dishwasher was turning twice a day.We, for our part, we left to 4 adults and 5 children.We had the good surprise to discover a large suspended terrace with fantastic kitchen access for outdoor dining as soon as the weather allows.The rooms are large, pretty and well appointed comfortable beds.The only inconvenience has been the work on very close house with top concrete and crane in action from 7 am in the morning from Monday to Friday The photo is misleading, we thought to be in a lonely cottage!

Accommodation is a traditional farmhouse. Nicely decorated. Only just opened so has a few learning points, we have discussed, is followed up. Surroundings are beautiful, but we also had enough snow. Approx 10 minutes by car to the Hopfgarten ski lift. Nice area.
