Scenically beautiful. Short trips to the surrounding area are easy to undertake, even with a dog.

No warm welcome! The neighbor indicated upon arrival that we had landed in a catastrophe. Unfortunately, this man was right. First, we noticed that there was extensive construction going on at the building where we were going to stay. In the bathroom, we found mold in several places. You could feel the springs of the mattress immediately, and we woke up with muscle pain. The kitchen was not as well-equipped as we had been promised beforehand. The two electric hot plates did not get hot enough to prepare food. There was no washing machine or BBQ present, as mentioned in the advertisement. When we pointed out these deficiencies, we faced strong resistance from the landlord, who only communicated via text. In the apartment, there was only a woman and a man who could understand and speak limited English/German. We had to ask for clean towels. The Bregenerwald discount card that we were supposed to receive automatically for a stay of more than three days in Bregenerwald was not given to us. We were informed about this at the gondola lifts. This would have saved us more than €100 in total if we had received the card. We wanted to leave because the situation regarding communication was only getting worse. There were even threats to find us on social media by copying texts. All in all, this was enough to leave. The amount promised to us as compensation is still not in our account. We had to urgently find something else to continue our vacation. Our advice for any future guests is not to stay here!
