Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer is an ideal starting point for numerous activities, no matter what time of year. In winter, the nearby Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn ski area, which is only a few minutes away, beckons. With over 270 kilometers of slopes, it is one of the best ski areas in Austria and offers perfect conditions for skiers and snowboarders. But there is also a lot to discover away from the slopes: cross-country ski trails, winter hiking trails and toboggan runs provide variety, while snowshoe hikes allow you to experience the snowy mountains from a completely new perspective.

In summer, the region transforms into a paradise for nature lovers and active vacationers. Hikers and climbers will find a wealth of tours through the impressive landscape of the Steinernes Meer, while mountain bikers will get their money's worth on the trails of the Leogang Bike Park. Quiet hours can be spent at the nearby Ritzensee, which provides refreshment on hot days. Golfers can also look forward to it: the Urslautal golf course is just a few minutes away and offers fantastic views while playing.
