Description
This detached, luxurious holiday home for up to 10 people enjoys an idyllic location on the banks of the Taurach River, on the outskirts of Mauterndorf in the sunny Lungau region of Salzburg. The chalet offers the utmost in comfort and is just a few minutes from the ski lift – the ski bus stop is practically right outside the door (approx. 200 m).
The house features five spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The stylish living area with a fireplace, lounge, and cozy seating area invites you to relax. Adjacent to this are the large dining area and the modern, fully equipped kitchen. A ski room with boot warmers, a sunny terrace with mountain views, and parking directly at the house are also available. An electric vehicle charging station is available for a fee upon registration.
In winter, you can easily reach four ski areas by ski bus: Grosseck-Speiereck (practically within walking distance), Obertauern, Katschberg, and Fanningberg – together offering over 250 km of perfectly groomed slopes.
In summer, the Lungau region delights visitors with numerous hiking and mountain biking trails, golf courses, and swimming spots such as the Mauterndorf adventure pool, Lake Trogalm, and Lake Schlierer. Shops and restaurants are available in the village.

During the winter (at least), this house should be advertised like 4 bedrooms. The fifth bedroom is not heated and also the bathroom was no heated. The owner offered a small airflow heater - it was not enough and the bathroom was still frozen. In addition, there was a very noisy in the night. So, after the first night nightmare, we reorganized and slept 10 people in 4 bedrooms (a big inconvenient for us). We also had an argue with the owner regarding the temperature in the house. He raised the temperature, in the end. He wants to make economy, but, as a tourist paying a lot of money, I need warm and comfort (we had -19 Celsius degree in the night). Apart from this problem, everything would have been perfect. Two bedrooms are very nice and comfortable, but other two bedrooms are small and not enough space to store your personal items. All in all, the price is very high for what they offer.
Everything about our stay was wonderful. The only wish for improvement would be a sauna.🤗
The house in Mauterndorf is ideal for large families or groups of up to 10 people. There are 5 spacious bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The common areas are also very spacious and very well equipped, especially the kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. The house is modern and comfortably furnished, in impeccable condition and everything is very clean. Wood is the predominant material and fits very well with the style of the area. The house is ideally suited for summer and winter holidays. Very large terraces and a large garden by the mountain stream complete the picture. The location is very good and you can start beautiful hikes directly from the house. The landlord is easy to reach and very helpful, and the key handover went smoothly. We felt very comfortable.

The perfect house, clean, modern and very tastefully decorated. The equipment is great and the landlord is super nice. It is ideal for 10 people, it is perfect for cycling and hiking tours.
We found the property very easy. The house looks just like the photos-fantastic, very clean and warm. Our host Bert opened the door electronically. We spent a wonderful Christmas there. Enough space for 10 people. There is a fully equipped kitchen with more than enough cutlery for 10 peoples and a baby! Cozy bedrooms with comfortable beds and big bathrooms. The nearest ski slopes are in10 min walking distance. We strongly recommend the property.
Someone was waiting nicely when we arrived. The house is really fantastic. Nice view, nice river at the end of the plot.
