Penthouse in Mieders

Our stay was very pleasant, we had part of the first floor and the top floor with the large terrace. There is an elevator that goes directly to the apartment. Very convenient! Under the building is a spacious garage. It is very clean there. There was very good communication (English/German) with Helmuth. For example, the coffee machine was broken and a new one was brought the next day (Nespresso and Barissimo (Aldi) capsules are compatible). The oven, microwave, and dishwasher worked well. Salt and pepper were available. Basic pots and pans too. The mattresses were of good quality, as well as the bedding and towels (small and large per person). Nearby, there is an Aldi and a Spar. The lifts (Serlesbahnen) are within walking distance. With the document you need to fill out for your stay, you get a 10% discount at the lift.

Positive: - Helmuth is consistently friendly and approachable. He responds immediately to messages and takes care of things. - The apartment is very nicely designed and has a pleasant size. It was generally clean and also available earlier on the day of arrival. - There is a beautiful view of the mountains from the very spacious terrace. - The kitchen equipment is sufficient. - Easy access to the apartment and a parking space in the garage. A family van fits in here as well. - Easter surprise for the child was at the door. Negative: - The furnishings in the rooms are not really sufficient. Most of our clothes remained in the suitcase. - The house seems to be not quite finished yet. Work is still being done around the house, which is not entirely quiet and can be quite disturbing, especially early in the morning. - No towels for the floor in the bathrooms. - Knives in the kitchen are very worn and not sharp. No trash bags, dishwashing tabs, or other dish soap. - Kettle is heavily calcified. - Not enough seating at the dining table or on the terrace for 8 people. The dining table can seat 6 people and the terrace 5 people. This is also visible in the photos. - The guest bed in the lower room is a leather sofa. I don't know if that is actually suitable for two people. I suspect that the room with four sleeping options is at most suitable for a small family's stay, not for four adults. - The owner was once in the apartment during our absence to make adjustments to the heating. I found that very uncomfortable, especially since we had informed him beforehand when we would be back in the apartment.

We were here for the second time with 7 people and were very satisfied again. A bright, large, cozy holiday home with a great view. With the many bedrooms, everyone had the opportunity to retreat after a day on the slopes. And with two bathrooms, there was no waiting in line. Our landlord was always reachable in case of problems and tried to help. If everything goes well, we would love to come back next year.

Despite poor sleep, we had a wonderful holiday.

Very well-equipped and stylish apartment, Everything was as described, and it was easy to access nearby attractions, The skiing nearby was fantastic, and we appreciated having a garage for our car, Would definitely stay here again!
