Description
Set within the peaceful Schöneben holiday village in Wald im Pinzgau, this spacious 120 m² chalet offers a comfortable alpine retreat for families and groups. After a day in the mountains, the Austrian tiled stove creates a warm and inviting atmosphere in the living room, while the covered south-facing balcony and terrace provide a lovely place to take in the surrounding scenery. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, Quooker and Nespresso coffee machine, with a dining area for relaxed meals together. Free Wi-Fi, water, electricity, firewood and final cleaning are included.
The four ground-floor bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements, with two rooms featuring double beds and two rooms with a double bed plus bunk beds. There are two bathrooms: one has a shower and double sink, while the other includes a shower, sink, sauna and relaxation area. Two separate toilets add extra convenience. Beds are made on arrival for booked guests aged three and over, with bed linen and towels included. The chalet also has a Smart TV, CD/DVD player, two covered parking spaces and access to shared ski storage with a ski boot dryer. A washing machine and dryer are available as shared, payable facilities.
Whether you visit in winter or summer, the location makes it easy to enjoy the Austrian Alps. The Wildkogel Arena is around a five-minute drive away, while the larger Zillertal Arena can be reached in just over 15 minutes, with a free ski bus stop within 250 metres. After skiing, guests can unwind in the sauna or enjoy free access to the Kristall outdoor pool. In warmer months, hiking and cycling routes lead through forests and valleys, while canyoning, climbing and Flying Fox adventures offer something for those seeking more excitement.

The accommodation is very nice, but there were a few small things that made my rating not more positive. Unfortunately, there was a plague of flies that really took the fun out of staying comfortably in the accommodation. Unfortunately, we were not informed about this in advance. The problem could easily be solved by installing fly screens in front of all windows and balcony doors. We vacuumed over 100 flies in 15 minutes. In addition, the toilet in the basement does not have a sink, which can often be very annoying. The house was superficially clean, but on closer inspection it was noticeable that it was only superficially. Otherwise, the accommodation is really beautiful, very modern and the location is really great. Great views, walking distance to the main shops and a swimming pool is also 5 houses away.
We were very happy with the accommodation and had a great week! It was a bit annoying that we only knew two weeks in advance which object it was going to be. It then became the "snow rose". The basement with the bedrooms is unheated in summer, so it is a bit damp near the floor. Overall, the house is very nice and modern. Nine of them can barely get there with two toilets. The kitchen is very well equipped. Sauna was ok, but only for two and nobody can lie down. Very good beds / mattresses! Overall everything was good and very good value for the area.
Everything about our stay was pleasant, The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, The sauna was a hit with everyone, and we loved the proximity to the ski lifts
