Description

This cozy, spacious wooden house, built in the traditional Carinthian style, was constructed using sustainable building methods and furnished with meticulous attention to detail. Spread over three floors, it offers approximately 230 m² of living space and can accommodate up to 10 people. Wooden, tile, and carpeted floors, along with wood-paneled walls, create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Enter the house through a heavy wooden front door and pass through a vestibule to a cloakroom with an adjoining guest toilet. An open wooden staircase leads to the upper floor with three bedrooms or the garden level with two bedrooms. A highlight is the large, open-plan kitchen with a spacious dining table and corner bench perfectly integrated into the bay window. It is fully equipped with a large refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker (whole bean), toaster, kettle, and other electric cooking appliances. For cooking, you can choose between a ceramic cooktop or a traditional wood-burning stove.

Particularly impressive is the adjoining, cozy living room with its original hypocaust tiled stove, which can be heated as needed with the provided firewood (included from October to May). A hunting lodge with wood paneling completes the ground floor. From the living room, you can access the large, wraparound balcony with various seating options, offering breathtaking views of the Karawanken mountains. The balcony provides direct access to the outdoor kitchen and, in summer, to the private pool.

A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor. Here, a hallway leads to three double bedrooms and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. The two master bedrooms open onto a loggia with magnificent views of the Karawanken. All bedrooms are heated by the hypocaust wood-burning heating system (self-heating) on the ground floor.

Two further double bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower and toilet are located on the garden level. The sauna with a separate shower, available for optional rental, is also located on this level. The living area leads to a sheltered terrace, also with fantastic views of the Karawanken mountains, a hot tub (for a fee) and seating.
