It is a wonderfully beautiful and large holiday home on top of a mountain. It is all for yourself. Super much privacy. Enjoy every morning on the balcony with a beautiful view, to see the sun rise. It is a clean house with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The beds sleep well. Very quiet. Deer and squirrels just walk past your house. To get to your holiday home you have to drive 5 kilometers on a narrow mountain road with many sharp hairpin bends. The first few times it may be a bit scary. But after going up and down a few times you get used to it. The manager Christina is very friendly and helpful, you can always call her if there is anything. I can't think of any negative points for myself. Yes, one negative point. I thought it was a shame that my holiday was over after a week. I would have liked to stay there longer. If I may give one piece of advice or advice to the owner of the holiday home to make it even more optimal. It would be nice if you had your own 11 KWh charging station at your holiday home to charge your electric car there.

Beautiful view. Nice walking/climbing from the house. To enter the city you have to leave by car. Quite a tour to get up and down the mountain. We know how to enjoy it! Plenty of room here for the 3 of us. 7 people would also just fit.

In this beautiful residence you have enough space for 6 people. We have used this house as a base to enjoy skiing in the area. Please note that in winter conditions the house on top of a mountain can only be reached with winter tires and possibly snow chains. The living room has a wood-burning stove that you have to burn yourself. Someone gets up half an hour earlier and everyone wakes up in a warm room. The view is fantastic and you can walk in the area. Recommended!

Very nice and clean accommodation with a wonderful view and foresight! Accommodation is on the mountain, approx. 10 minutes by car from Egg. House is very well equipped, the property manager Christina explains everything necessary. The guest card can be used for the mountain railways and buses and outdoor pools included! Guarantee for a successful family holiday. Egg is ideally located for excursions from here. Everything you need is available in the village. We'd love to come back!

Warm welcome by hostess. It was the 2nd time we were in Haus Barbara! Great house and beautiful surroundings. Annoyingly we found that on arrival we were informed that on Tuesday 2 July the road that led to the house would be closed. So we could not go to the valley by car or with the elevator on Bruggelekopf down as we were told on arrival, because it turned out to be out of operation. Still a somewhat confined feeling that day, especially since it was our wedding day and we had very different plans for that day.

Very warm welcome in the beautifully situated holiday home with stunning views. It is spacious, tidy and clean. There is so much to do in the immediate area. With the guest card you can use several cable cars for free. Ideal.

The house is as described. Everything is fine. The view is phenomenal. The accessibility is over narrow roads with many U-turns. In winter you definitely need snow chains.

Haus Barbara is a great (spacious) house, fully equipped, with a fantastic view and a lovely balcony. The reception was very friendly. The last 4 km on the narrow road between the valley and the house remained very exciting until the last holiday.

The welcome was friendly and good. The house is spacious for us (family with 3 children). The house meets all basic needs. Because of the location, the view is fantastic. Due to the high location it is not easily accessible (steep road with many hairpin bends) and snow chains are necessary in winter weather.

We really enjoyed our stay at Haus Barbara. It takes some control maneuvering to get there, through a narrow crater road through the mountains. But in itself it is also a nice experience. And what a view, great !!! We were very kindly welcomed by the manager who gave us a walk through the house. Even though it is all dated, there is a good atmosphere in the house, which is of all conveniences to provide.

What a lovely place just outside Egg. Especially in the morning and in the evening with the view of the valley and surrounding mountains. You have to search a while to find the house because the street numbering is not quite in the right order. But nice house with good facilities. Damüls-Mellau in the neighborhood (about 35 min drive) and a little further on Au / Schoppernau and Warth-Schröcken. All accessible with the same 3 dallenpas.Er still be some costs for wood and electricity on top of the rent.

Everything was exactly as we expected beforehand. Simple, but everything is there. Great views over the mountains and Egg! Snow chains are absolutely not a luxury to get to the cottage. Prima holiday had three small children who were able to crawl around deliciously through the house.

We had everything we wanted. Lots of snow, driving with snow chains, build snowmen, hiking and tobogganing and hot weather (in T-shirt in the snow). In between delicious enjoy the view with a glass of wine at the tiled stove.

Since we know the house, we were familiar and satisfied with the locations and had moreover the dubious fortune to have each Mende snow, doubtful for the reason that it was fantastically beautiful for walking, on the other hand, the driving was very dangerous, as the road was not cleared, despite the intervention meinerseits.Und at this slope and tight corners that bordered almost on negligence on the part of the evacuation officer. We have the Christmas 2014 holiday spent in Barbara. The first days of overcast weather with beautiful views and a Christmas snow. A fun environment and a friendly atmosphere. Prima cottage equipped. An extra soft couch or chair had been welcome. Again next year!

You searched for a hotel with proximity to Bregenz. This expectation was erfüllt.Außerdem we still got a wonderful quiet accommodation with enough space for our two small children, a beautiful view and a driver training in serpentine driving. Typical Austrian house, with the usual wooden interiors and tiled stove. Beautiful views given its location, practically on the mountaintop. A well equipped kitchen and ample sized bedrooms. Powered plumbing and bathroom with shower. State close to other houses, so the garden is rather small. The other houses are mainly used as weekend and it can all sometimes & quotdrukker "around his own residence, but all the neighbors are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended for people who love peace and beautiful nature and scenery.

We have been the end of June for a week at Haus Barbara, and enjoyed the beautiful view. We are having Christmas with my family (3 children: 7,9 and 11) Barbara been home for a week's skiing. What a wonderful vacation we had there! The trip went so fast, we arrived earlier than expected at the place of destination. No problem. The key was waiting at Gasthof Alpenrose (about 500 meters away from the house) and we were straight into the house. The house was cozy decorated for Christmas and the stove was already burning. In short, we came in and felt right at home. It's a really cozy and warm home. Moreover equipped (kitchen and bathroom). Very spacious and well The view is breathtaking and the rest a true oasis. The children could enjoy in and around the home games. Nearby are plenty of ski areas. You can choose Sketteregg, which is about 15 km. This is a small family ski area with one long chairlift and several lifts. With the kids which was fine for us. It was very quiet, so we had all the space and needs to wait for the elevators. But there are plenty of other ski areas in about half an hour away. These resorts are larger and offer more experienced skiers uitdaging.Op about

All necessities are present and there is a lot of kitchen appliances including dishwasher, oven, blender, microwave. The kitchen has plenty. Bedrooms are spacious and the beds properly. The soapstone stove works easily and provides a warm and gracious hospitality. For us worthwhile and worth repeating. We were 2 adults and 4 adult children. A prime location.

A house with a spectacular setting! We have spent skiing holiday in Chalet Barbara and the fact that snow chains were no luxury could not spoil the fun. The setting was magical with over 2 mt snow!
