Detached chalet on the slopes of Zillertal Arena
Königsleiten, Salzburgerland, Austria
Located right on the slopes, this detached chalet is an ideal accommodation for families travelling together. You can relax in the private sauna, which can be accessed from outside. The second floor has bedrooms with bedboxes. The chalet belongs to a luxury wellness resort. For a fee, you can use an indoor spa pool, massage, hay bed and relaxation room with views of the beautiful mountain world
Enjoy the cosiness of the village with its various shops and restaurants and nearby Gerlos. Königsleiten is located at a snow-sure altitude of 1,600 metres, on the border of Salzburgerland and Tyrol.
In summer, there are many opportunities for hiking and mountain biking. Nearby, you will find many attractions such as the reservoir near Gerlos where you can ride a pedalo in summer. A visit to Europe's largest waterfalls in nearby Krimml should not be missed either

Charlet H has nice unobstructed mountain views and is close to the village mountain track. The photos are obviously taken positively from the cottage you look out on several après-ski huts that could potentially cause a nuisance in the winter months, unless you like it. We were there in summer and then it is generally quite quiet. The stairs to the cottage were a construction site during our stay August 2025 so you have to walk around. You can get to the cottage by car only not when it rains a lot or when there is snow. The cottage itself is fine, there are enough sleeping places for 17 people only I would find that too tight. There is 1 single bed and the rest of the beds are double. The kitchen contents are kwa appliances and glasses/cups fine only does come up short with cutting boards and utensils. Konigsleiten is a real holiday village located at the far end of Zillertal. In summer or with bad weather, not everything is always open. Gerlos is a 20-minute drive away and Zell am Ziller a good 40 minutes on mountain winding roads. Krimml is closer but then you have to take a toll road (±€10.5) or detour via Wald am Pinzau via the old narrow mountain road. For children, there is more than enough to do in Zillertal in summer, only sometimes you have to drive a bit longer for that.
It was a very nice holiday The house is not really suitable for families with small children The hotel with the swimming pool is very expensive and you get nothing for it the promised Aqua Park we were looking for.
We really enjoyed it. Enjoyed our stay in the villa.
