Description
In the small mountain village of Forstau, where you will find plenty of hospitality and cosiness, you will find this well-kept holiday home with a nice flat on the first floor. The cosy living room is perfect for an evening of cards and the well-equipped kitchen allows you to prepare the most delicious meals. The garden is shared with the owner and from the balcony you can end the day in style with a drink and a great view. Amazing!
Forstau's ski slope is a short distance away, making this property an ideal stay for families with young children or novice skiers. Looking for more of a challenge? Then this is the place to be. Just over 4 km from the property you will find the ski lifts of the Reiteralm (Schladming-Dachstein ski area). A trip to the Dachstein Glacier or the ski resorts of Zauchensee/Altenmarkt and Flachau is also a possibility.
Forstau is located on the border of Salzburgerland province and Styria province. Both provinces offer plenty of great day trips. Nature lovers will find what they are looking for on a beautiful hiking or mountain bike tour

A top accommodation...everything super and the view first...
The accommodation is on the 1st floor of the house, which is located on a quiet side street on the outskirts of the village. Very nice, friendly and helpful hostess. Problem-free handling when we were unable to arrive on the agreed day. Flat very clean and practically furnished for us, car park directly at the house. It was no problem to get additional towels - the possibility of laundry was also offered, as well as support in finding a doctor after a fall. Many thanks also for the apricots from our own garden! Shopping facilities are available in the small village shop - otherwise there are plenty of shops about 7 km away, e.g. in Radstadt. Forstau was a very quiet place during our holiday in summer with many hiking possibilities - also for untrained people. Generally very friendly people! We felt at home!

A lovely flat with enough space for a family or 2 couples. Spacious bedrooms and a large bathroom. Clean, tidy and everything available. We were there during the winter but also recommended in the summer months. Great location in a beautiful region. A very friendly hostess. Recommended!
