The chalet is located on the southern slope in picturesque Walchen (Piesendorf). The location is perfect, sunny, very close to Zell am See - Kaprun, and only 20 minutes away from the beautiful ski area of Saalbach-Hinterglemm, centrally located in Salzburgerland.
Walchen is a picturesque village in the shadow of the majestic Hohe Tauern mountains. This picturesque location offers numerous opportunities for outdoor activities all year round. In summer, you can enjoy beautiful hiking and cycling routes in the surrounding mountains and relax at Lake Zell. In winter, the area is popular for its many skiing and snowboarding opportunities in the nearby ski resort. The centre of Walchen is particularly charming and houses cosy restaurants, where you will experience the typical regional hospitality first-hand

Beautifully furnished flat. Good beds, nice bathrooms and well-equipped kitchen that had all the luxuries. Being able to use the sauna was also a big plus.
We stayed from 28 December to 4 January with 7 people in Top 7 of the Tauern Suite and had a wonderful week. The weather conditions were fantastic and it was really nice to spend the Christmas holidays like this in Austria. We went skiing in both Kaprun and Zell am See. We travelled to the slopes by private transport as it was most practical with our group size and ski gear. The travel distance was 10-20 minutes. The flat was lovely and fully equipped. The beds slept wonderfully and the person who slept on the sofa bed also had a great rest there. In the apartment complex all kinds of fine amenities such as covered parking, ski cellar, sauna and possibility to do your laundry in a shared laundry room for 4 euros.
Fantastic holiday, great accommodation, best location. Highly recommended, I would book again anytime!
what a fantastic accommodation! Everything neat , lacking nothing. Within 10 minutes at the lift in Zell am see or kaprun. Can heartily recommend this Taueren suite!!!
