Description

This rustic detached holiday home is approx. 500 years old and is located only a few minutes' walk from the market centre of Hopfgarten. The charm of the holiday home has been largely preserved over the centuries and supplemented with modern-day amenities. Creaking floorboards await you. A farmhouse parlour decorated with old wood, where you can spend a cosy time together with your loved ones after a long day of skiing and end the day with a good glass of wine
For winter sports enthusiasts, the holiday home has an excellent location. The ski lift with practice area is in the immediate vicinity and can be reached on foot in 13 minutes. Here you will also find a ski depot and ski rental. Ideal! You don't need a car or a ski bus.

The Wilder Kaiser Brixental area, where this holiday home is located, is also worth a visit in summer. The imposing panoramic mountain Hohe Salve towers above the rural side valleys. Quiet hiking trails and cycling tours lead you through the varied Tyrolean mountain landscape. A special insider tip is the Lärchenteich Hopfgarten (Kühle Luft 40, 6361 Hopfgarten) in the summer months. This can be reached on foot from the holiday home in just a few minutes. Here you can fish a fresh trout yourself and have it prepared afterwards. Of course, you can also enjoy a delicious trout or other local specialities without fishing.

The house was a perfect (walking) distance from the village and the ski lift. However, it is an old house, the doorposts and ceilings are very low. The wooden floor, especially on the 1st floor, is very sloping and needs maintenance. The bathroom and toilet, which fortunately were separate, are satisfactory but very basic. The kitchen and dining room are fine and well heated with the wood stove. Kitchen inventory is ample. We had a good holiday, but due mainly to the state of the house, will not book the accommodation again soon. The owner is very committed and friendly.

Cosy authentic house with a kind and committed owner (Katherina) who lives in the yard. Before we arrived from the ski slopes, the owner lit the wood stove for us. Upon departure, there was another delicious cake waiting for us. Do not expect great luxury, but a cosy and cozy house. Top holiday.

The house was very rustic, really something different. Very well maintained, everything you need, comfortable beds and a terrace. The kids felt very comfortable. It's different to live in such an old house 😉 The landlords are also very nice.
