Traditional group house with plenty of space
Brixen im Thale, Tirol, Austria
As the oldest village, Brixen has given its name to the valley. Nestled in gentle grassy mountains with extensive alpine pastures, the charming village of Brixen im Thale is located in the middle of the Brixen Valley.
The traditional Pension Oberleitner with its 16 bedrooms offers enough space for travel groups of up to 34 people. The house has a spacious dining room, which invites you to socialise and where you can end the day in a cosy atmosphere. Another highlight is the fully equipped kitchen, where you can cook your own Tyrolean delicacies. While the children pass the time in their own playroom or at the playground in the garden, the rest can recharge their batteries either by taking a walk in the beautiful surroundings or in the deck chair in front of the house. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with WC and is equipped with a TV.
From the guesthouse, many attractions in Bressanone are only a few minutes' walk or drive away. In summer, Brixen im Thale offers a leisure complex with an adventure swimming pool, bathing lake, beach volleyball court, Kneipp facility, tennis courts and an idyllic fishing pond. The Filzalmsee on Hochbrixen has developed into a crowd puller, where there are many exciting opportunities for young and old to play and discover. The Filzalmsee is also the starting point for many wonderful alpine pasture and themed hikes, such as on or around the Hohe Salve.
The ski bus stop is only 230m away from the guesthouse and takes you directly to the ski lift of the Bergbahn SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental in winter, which gives you access to one of the largest ski areas in Austria. A real insider tip in winter is a winter hike to the Brixenbachalm, to which you can walk comfortably from the Oberleitner guesthouse and, after a snack, return just as comfortably by toboggan
