The mountain chalet is situated at around 1300 metres above sea level amidst an impressive mountain panorama on the edge of the Saalbach-Hinterglemm ski resort. There is plenty of seating in the living room-kitchen. There is also a radio. A wood-burning stove provides cosy heating. The kitchen has a modern design and includes a big dishwasher, as well as a filter coffee machine, toaster and kettle. It is an ideal starting point for hiking and mountain biking tours in summer, and in winter with the right snow conditions you can ski directly to the chalet and from there via piste no. 68 into the valley, with ski bus connections to the ski lifts. A grocery shop and a ski school are about 4km away. Zell am See is about 11km and Saalbach about 12km away. In summer, there is a swimming pool by the chalet Hecherhütte 800 metres away.
