This comfortable accommodation in Viehhofen combines a warm feel with a practical, cosy layout. The extensive use of wood gives the interior a natural, homely atmosphere. The open-plan kitchen connects directly to the cosy living and dining area, making it a lovely place to cook, eat and unwind together after an active day in the mountains. Thanks to its central location, the accommodation is an ideal base for exploring Viehhofen and the surrounding region
The new 10-person gondola lift, within walking distance of the accommodation, was built in 2020. You can take the lift, called the ZellamseeXpress, to cross over to Zell am See-Kaprun and tackle Schmittenhöhe. If you spend a day skiing in the Saalbach area, the run down from there is also right next to the accommodation. You can easily reach the lifts in the Saalbach Hinterglemm ski area on the free ski bus. So if you come here for a winter sports holiday, you’ll have two wonderful, large ski areas right on your doorstep! You only have to walk a short distance. But this is also a lovely place to stay at other times of year. The well-known towns of Zell am See, Kaprun and Saalbach-Hinterglemm are just a few minutes away. On a warm summer’s day, take a refreshing dip in Lake Zell near Zell am See. And don’t forget to bring your hiking boots!
