Sonnen Lodge Kaprun

This was our second time at the Sonnenlodge and we felt very comfortable again. The view of the Hohe Tauern from the terrace in the morning is simply marvellous. The swimming pool right outside the door is also great, as is the local railway stop. Thanks to the Piesendorf Card, you can use this free of charge, as well as all public transport in Salzburger Land.

It was lovely as always. This was our 3rd time at the Sonnen-Lodge. We felt very comfortable and are looking forward to next year. The contact with Nadine (caretaker service) was also super easy and pleasant.

This is a fantastic flat, with stunning mountain views. The flat is spacious, and has all the comforts. It was also very clean, which is always nice if you have an allergy to dust mites.

Bus transport with ski area is poor. By car, it is quite manageable. There are several good restaurants in the village and within walking distance.

Accommodation meets expectation and description. Great location: Located very close to train station (with matching card - free travel nearby). Within walking distance of swimming pool, recommended with nice weather to end the day.

This was our second time at the Sonnen Lodge and we were very impressed again. Everything was clean, in a quiet location and the bakery is less than a 5-minute walk away. The Berger family are also great to deal with. You are warmly welcomed and informed about everything important.

Lovely flat, tastefully decorated. From the nice lounge sofa on the terrace, we enjoyed great views. Very fully equipped and we liked the fact that there was more than enough crockery. In addition, there is plenty of storage space in the cupboards. The Lokalbahn (little train nearby) is ideal to easily get to e.g. Zell am See (free with the received Gästekarte). Fine base for many trips in the area.

The Sonnen Lodge is in a beautiful location. We used the swimming pool, which is very close by. Sights in the region are also a short distance away. Unfortunately, the flat could be better. Although there is a garden, there are more weeds than grass. Unfortunately, our children could not play on the grass as it was teeming with slugs. There was mould on the bathroom ceiling and the cleaning is not great. The flat is very full. All the kitchen cupboards are stocked, but a little more space to put down your own groceries would be nice.

Nice flat with garden, the view is super. Lots of opportunities for hiking and cycling or taking the cable car up the mountain. Swimming pool literally around the corner. Between the two single beds fits a camping cot, this can be rented, very convenient. Fine cottage for 2 adult child.

The flat is very nice and also the terrace with the garden furniture is wonderful. Unfortunately, you can't enjoy this because the flat is very noisy. As soon as someone lives upstairs it is over with the relaxation. Especially outside, the noise from the balcony (directly above the terrace) is unbearable. You can't enjoy the wonderful view there in peace and quiet.

Very nice, stylish flat. Quiet location and absolutely recommendable. The caretaker service is great and you get same day help. We will be happy to come back.

Great location, very well equipped flat, modern.

Very nicely furnished flat, we felt very comfortable. Despite the proximity to the railway, very quiet location. The Nagelsköpfle adventure mountain (suitable for absolute beginners) is in the immediate vicinity.

Fine and modern flat, well equipped. With the summer card that we received, you also had free access to the swimming pool of Piesendorf, within walking distance of the flat.

The place is smaller than it looks like on the pictures. Some basic staff like soap would be nice to have as after a long trip people are not into jumping straight to the store. It would also be nice to be provided with two keys. We managed to lock ourselves out and we had to call Nadine(our main contact) to figure out how to let us back in. Unfortunately, she was not available to react swiftly nor provide estimated time when we can expect any feedback. So we had to kill the time for half a day and at 2pm I dared to ask her if she would be able to get to the house soon when it turned out that the door was unlocked at 11am but no one told us.

Very nice flat. Ideal for 4 people. Good base for skiing in Kaprun, Zell am See and Saalbach. Nice and warm, nice sauna.
