Personally, I found the UK interesting, but I'm used to a lot from working in assembly. For other people, it could be a bit of a culture shock. It's also adventurous when there's a storm there and the neighbouring stream turns into a raging torrent. That's what happened to us.
A lovely little cottage in a quiet area - you can start numerous hikes from here. The equipment is great, we had everything we needed. It is a bit cramped in places (especially upstairs), but that wasn't a problem for us.
