Chalet The LarchHouse

The house is a good size. The village should not be called a village, because there are a few restaurants and a supermarket, but nothing at all. The house does not have an unobstructed view but looks onto other houses. The second bathroom is located in the living area and not near the bedrooms, so you hardly use it. The kitchen is fully equipped.

Really nice and clean house, everything we needed was there. Great large veranda, the ski area within walking distance. The only drawback was that the house was very noisy. Otherwise absolutely recommended.

The house was fantastic, wonderfully spacious. We were there with 4 adults and 3 children. The kitchen is well equipped. Beautiful view from the dining / living table! We missed a (heated) ski boot rack for the ski boots to dry them properly at night. (There would certainly be room for that in the space of the washing machine)

Thanks to the possibility of online check-in, the handing over of the keys does not take long on arrival, the house is perfectly prepared, well equipped overall and corresponds exactly to the description on the website. Clearing snow, spreading the paths, everything well organized. The only small problem: the garbage disposal doesn't seem to work properly, if you sort your garbage well, you're reluctant to just throw used glass in a corner...

Arrival went very well. Accommodation as described; great! beautiful surroundings.

everything top, as always, small defects which are normal in the older houses. However, these were recorded on departure. Environment is great and offers ideal conditions for beginners and advanced.

Good and friendly welcome from the reception in the neighboring hotel. The accommodation is very well equipped and nice and spacious. Noticeable that it has been in the rental business for several years now and that there is no annual zero point in terms of inventory. The surroundings are beautiful, but during the walks you walk a lot in the pine forests, so you have fewer views than in other regions. The work referred to in the advertisement is clearly noticeable at the moment. We were bothered by it on every working day from 7:15 to 7:30 PM because building was being done exactly behind the house. After mid-September you will probably have less trouble with that since there is no more direct construction behind the house.

Beautiful villa with all conveniences close to beautiful nature

There was not really a reception when we received the code from the key box a few hours before arrival and so the house was ready. That was okay. Everything was perfectly fine and everything was itself. The house is very well equipped with everything needed and more. For example, there were a kitchen scale, toaster, measuring cup, hair dryer, ironing board and iron. You name it it was there. Furthermore, it is a very light house, comfortably clean and spacious. Even with a larger group it is a comfortable house. We were two of us. Bathroom fantastic. Bedrooms all with enough cupboard space. Beds good pillows for Dutch people limp. WiFi worked perfectly.We missed only one thing, but perhaps we didn't look well, there were no pillows for the wooden seats outside. Those seats are good, but are hard over time. There are no Dutch TV channels. We didn't mind that. Environment is very beautiful. Lots of sports. Keep in mind that the height can make it cold outside. Colder than in Trieben, which is only 15 minutes away. New chalets are being built close by. On arrival you will see the construction work, but we were not bothered by it. Unlike in the photos, the chalet is no longer as free. And the wood on the outside has become weathered and gray. Under the carport our car got wet with rain and melting snow. The carport next to ours was dry. We thought it was over the top, given the price of the property, that bed linen and towels had to be paid extra.

Luxury holiday home in a small but nice ski area. Nice way to the house you (only 2 hairpin bends), within walking distance of the ski area. The ski rental is only a 2-minute drive or a 30-minute walk away. The house is equipped with all modern conveniences, a lovely fireplace, comfortable beds and enough space for many people. Highly recommended is the sleigh ride from the Edelraute hut and then very nice food at Pfahlbaudorf at the bottom of the mountain!

Great house! Great area! Only was right next to the house a construction site and therefore you could not find peace.

We had a fantastic holiday at The Larchhouse in Hohentauern. The house was great in one word. What a space, both inside and outside and everything to the last detail.We know the environment from previous holidays and it is not for nothing that we have been on holiday for the third time in Hohentauern.

Great this luxury chalet, we enjoyed it, even nicer than the pictures! The reception was also a big fat plume.

The accommodation was perfect all in all, you could not figure out what was not. We have been here for 2c with 2 families and have enjoyed ourselves. The area is beautiful but if you want a nice city it's about a half hour drive but good to do. For hiking, mountain biking and fishing everything is within reach of the house. Accommodation generous with good facilities. Surroundings offers plenty of nature (with climbing / hiking and possible long-term) but otherwise no major ways.

House \/ Chalet very convincing, nice, very good and appropriately furnished sufficient Patz for 6 (to 8) people anteroom and lower bathroom were not sufficiently well heated (heating), other rooms were well heated. Onsite service very friendly and reliable. Great hiking, snow conditions \/ Ski resort were not great - but this is at least partly due to the weather -). We will come back!

Delicious two weeks spent in The Larchhouse.De expectations about the chalet was great after seeing the photo 's, but in reality it's even better, What a luxe.Er really find no flaw, everything perfect.De location the chalet is peaceful situated with a beautiful uitzicht.Vele walking and cycling routes in the area, so for the energetic, very geschikt.Enige minus point if you can call it all is that you have to drive a bit for a place with some larger stores vind.Maar with whom Austria is known, knows that this is nothing strange.

Nicely furnished, all comfort. Snowsure area unfortunately means not only security on snow, especially not in an open ski slope.

The Larch House is more than a holiday cottage with all conveniences, it is pure luxury in a very charming packaging! Everything is provided, and the equipment is new and of very high quality. In high season I can imagine that the pressure on the chalet- park with reduced privacy because the chalets are close to each other. But in low season it is an oasis of rust.De area is very nice, but for the real tourist attractions such as Salzburg, Vienna, Graz or the Alps you still have 1 to 2 hours away. The advantage is it again that you thereby see beautiful parts of Austria and the road network is excellent.

Beautiful area with lots of choice of walks. Maps available in the small Supertje. Bread service is fine. For accommodations nothing but praise. Only the weather, well that you can not book. Please note that you can sit in the clouds. Or rain This cottage provides all the extra "s that it is good to be with rain.

The Larch House is a beautiful chalet fully equipped. We have been there twice now (with 8 people, including 3 children) spent a wonderful winter holiday. Especially for skiers beginnenede Hohentaurn is a great ski area.
