Sonnrasthütte

We really enjoyed the week. Especially the view of the mountains from the balcony. The fenced property was ideal for our two dogs. The wood for the wood-burning stove had already been prepared. The friendly landlords surprised us with a nice gift for us and our dogs just before we left. As you can see from the property description, the approach to the house is via a winding road and the shower is in the kitchen or in the room next to the living area. But you can adjust to this, it didn't bother us at all.

A lovely Austrian house, simple yet fully equipped. Good beds. Lots of privacy, bird and squirrel rich!!!

It wasn't our first stay at the Sonntagshütte and it won't be our last. Very nice landlords, top cleanliness and an environment with a marvellous panorama. Here you can really recover from everyday life.

Cosy house in a nice, quiet location, with fine wood-burning stove that we also cooked on a few times. Enjoyed the squirrels and bullfinches in the garden. And both dalstatioj Zettersfeld and sesselbahn Faschingalm close by.

We had a great, relaxing week at the Sonnrasthütte in the best winter weather ❄️☃️❄️verbracht. We received a very warm welcome from the Bachmann family 🤗 The hut is very cosy with a tiled stove and there was plenty of firewood available. The beds were comfortable and we were able to start the day well rested. In the morning we could watch squirrels and birds feeding in the bird house 🙃

Quaint and cosy house. We felt very comfortable. The kitchen equipment was very good, everything you need was there. See nice landlord. Everything was fine.

It's a lovely rustic, simple Tyrolean hut and everything is clean. Everything you need is there. The landlord is super friendly and lovingly apologised for the bad weather with gingerbread, for which he couldn't do anything. The area is beautiful and there are plenty of places to visit. Definitely recommendable.

The Sonnrasthütte has everything you need. We felt very comfortable and our dog could roam freely in the fenced property. Very friendly hosts. The view of the Lienz Dolomites from the balcony is fantastic.

A super nice little holiday cottage to relax and enjoy. Very quaint and cosy. The landlords are totally nice and friendly. One difficulty was the storage of the things, there are not many cupboards, but otherwise we felt comfortable all around.

Nice very simple cottage. Everything you need is there and is well equipped. House and garden very well maintained and clean. Absolutely quiet location. The garden is fenced, so even with a dog no problem. There are no footpaths directly from the cottage, unless you take the steep road (with little traffic). The handover was uncomplicated and nice. A small tip: be sure to ask for an explanation of the TV in case you need it.

We can highly recommend the Sonnrasthütte. It is well equipped, clean and the property is completely fenced. The landlady is very nice and can be contacted at any time. We were especially taken with the squirrels that came to the bird feeder every day.

A very nice cottage . Irish and cosy with everything you need. The location is also super nice. With squirrels outside the door. A place to switch off.

Very nice accommodation for 2 people. Of course, this accommodation is even more suitable in summer, but if you are on the road all day like us, it does not bother you.

A cosy mountain hut in a beautiful setting. The hut is very well equipped.

The small hut is very quaint and cosy. Lying in bed or sitting on the balcony while looking at the mountains is simply wonderful. The stove is very cosy. Internet reception is variable. It was great for us to be close to a managed hut to which one could hike. There you can take a toboggan and sledge down the beautiful path.

Beautiful rustic hut with a magnificent view of the mountains. Everything you need is there. A couch would have been nice, but there is a dining area. We felt comfortable, our dogs too and we had a lovely week.

You have to be aware that the house is older. But the charm is stunning and you get used to many things that are no longer done today ( washing in the kitchen, but a shower is available).
