Maurach is located at the southern end of the Achensee, the "Tyrolean Sea". It is an ideal place to combine a bathing holiday with hiking. You can go beach hopping by ship, explore the Rofan with the cable car - with its dream view of the lake - or fly over the mountains with AirRofan. Tobogganing, ice skating or a romantic sleigh ride, on the other hand, ensure magical winter wonderland.
