Only 900 m separate your apartment with WiFi from the warmest swimming lake of Austria with drinking water quality in a unique mountain landscape. St. Kanzian in the Klopeiner See region is part of South Carinthia. With a length of 1.8 km and a width of 800 m, swimming pleasure is guaranteed here. Nothing is an active holiday in this area in the way: you can discover the beauty of the region with its breathtaking nature during long walks, cycling along the Drau or around the lakes and a mountain bike.

Activities in the area: On the beaches of the Klopeiner See you can relax and enjoy the tranquility or exercise. The lake has drinking water quality and is one of the hottest lakes of Carinthia with around 28 degrees in the summer months. Even for divers, the Klopeiner See is very attractive due to the pure spring water - a sight up to 15 m is possible. Sports fishermen also come to their draw (only with a fishing license), your landlord itself is fishing and can give you the best advice. The newly designed promenade along the lake is ideal for hiking - ensure entertainment is taken during festivals to the lake. Your accommodation is also the perfect starting point for other activities. A cycling and walking path runs directly past the accommodation and Nordic Walking is also possible. From May to September, the tourist office provides guided cycling, hiking and Nordic walking trips (sometimes for a fee). There are several cabins where you can enjoy the typical Carinthian cuisine and traditional hospitality

What a hidden gem! We spent a week here, and it was perfect, The flat was beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was well-stocked, We took advantage of the nearby cycling paths and enjoyed some great family hikes, Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat
Great large apartment, a bit uncomfortable with great light. Dark ceilings (wood). Terrace at the back, unfortunately no view of the mountains. Kitchen I miss some small things, no towel or tea towel or dish cloth. No dishwashing brush or dishwasher but no tablets to use. All to review and purchase yourself. No kitchen glove or potholders. Fine cooking place. and oven. Friendly hostess. No toilet paper and no roll holder. Few options to hang something in the bathroom (hooks) Great bed, lesser pillows. Fri. gr. Angela Venne
Klopeiner See is literally a 10-min walk and the water is so clear, Swam like a mermaid, no cap, The hosts are super nice and really make you feel at home, Perfect spot for an active getaway

We had a fantastic holiday! The flat was well-maintained and had a lovely balcony with stunning views, The kids loved the garden, and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, The lake was just a short walk away, and we spent hours swimming and relaxing there
The furnishings in the room were very old and the beds in very bad condition, the information about the distance to the lake did not match the catalogue, we had booked a holiday apartment with 2 separate bedrooms, unfortunately such an apartment was not available upon arrival,
