The chalet is located in a beautiful small chalet park, right on lake Afritzer See in the sunny south of Carinthia. Surrounding you are impressive mountain landscapes, clear lakes, and unspoiled nature. Whether you want to completely relax or prefer to be active, both options are available here – all year round!
Lake Afritzer See is known for its clear azure blue water and relaxed ambiance. At the well-maintained beach areas with sunbathing lawns and piers you can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and unwinding. Furthermore, there are more stunning lakes in the vicinity, such as the Millstätter See, the Ossiacher See, and the Faaker See. The charming village of Afritz am See and the surrounding towns offer all necessary amenities, including shops, supermarkets, and various restaurants.
In winter, this area transforms into a true winter sports region. Just about 15 kilometers away lies Bad Kleinkirchheim, with approximately 103 kilometers of slopes, modern ski lifts, and options for both families and experienced winter sports enthusiasts. The Gerlitzen Alpe is also nearby (about 13 kilometers), featuring around 50 to 55 kilometers of descents and stunning panoramas, making it ideal for both beginners and advanced skiers.

The hosts Marjolein and Oskar create a true vacation atmosphere. They provide you with tips about the area and are always ready to help if you have questions. The beautiful accommodation by the Afritzer See offers plenty of opportunities for young and old alike. The accommodation itself is luxurious, clean, and very well-equipped. There was even a washing machine available in the park. We stayed there for 2 weeks and were never bored. We took the train from the Netherlands to Villach and from there explored the beautiful surroundings with a rented car. There is also a bus connection within walking distance that goes to the station in Villach. Within walking distance of the accommodation, there is a restaurant where you can enjoy a nice meal. The supermarket and bakery are also within a short walking distance. The Afritzer See is nearby, and the many sports opportunities mean you can do a lot right from your vacation spot. As far as we are concerned: don’t look any further and just book it right away. It doesn't get any better than this.
