The cozy town of Hermagor is only a few minutes away, and Nassfeld, the largest ski area in Carinthia with 110 kilometers of slopes, is a 15-minute drive. In winter, you can make free use of the ski bus nearby, which takes you directly to the foot of the slopes.

Thanks to the balcony at the front, the sunny terrace, and the private garden, you'll always find a pleasant spot to sit outside around the chalet. The property also features a sauna, a spacious living room, a private carport right by the house, and a lockable storage room for skis, snowboards, and (rechargeable) bicycles.

The Nassfeld ski area in southern Austria is highly reliable for snow and is rated as the sunniest and most snow-secure area, thanks to its location on the southern side of the Alps and the Millennium Express, the longest gondola in Austria. Just a 25-minute drive away is Weissensee, a favorite spot for many ice skating enthusiasts in winter, making it a must-visit area all year round.

With many activities around Pressegger See, there is plenty of room for children to play happily, and adults can enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful landscape. Not in the mood to cook? There are plenty of dining options within walking distance. Chalet Pressegger is easy to reach, without challenging mountain roads.
