This lodge is located in the Pongau region, an 8-minute drive from Flachau, centrally in Salzburgerland. The lodge has all the comforts you could want. In the basement is a private wellness area with sauna and ski storage. Here you can enjoy yourself after a day of skiing. On the 1st floor is a living room with a sitting area and a large dining table with a fully equipped open kitchen. There are four bedrooms and five bathrooms. From the terrace, you have breathtaking views of the mountains

With hundreds of kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes and modern ski facilities, the Pongau region offers the ultimate Alpine experience. The ski areas Spacejet 1 Flachau, Snow Space Salzburg, Monte Popolo in Eben, Zauchensee and Altenmarkt-Radstadt, part of Ski Amadé, can be reached in about 10 minutes from the chalet. Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and après-ski are also excellent options in this region. The Pongau region is a magical destination for ski fanatics and winter lovers in winter. After skiing, you can relax at the Erlebnis-Therme Amadé in Altenmarkt (approx. 6.5 km).

Everything is amply provided. Even a good cheese slicer, a pestle, a milk frother and plenty of crockery/cutlery. The mattresses are lovely.
There were two downsides. This does matter because we were with 9 adults in this chalet and that is not really possible. The bedroom on the ground floor with 2x double bunk beds was very small in area and the size of the upper beds was very narrow. In our party, 3x adults had to sleep here and that is not possible. The upper beds are really only suitable for children or very small narrow adults and there was also no walking space around the two bunk beds. Being on a skiing holiday, you carry a lot of stuff with you, so this was impossible! We now put 1x mattress in the sauna room because this person is very easygoing, but it was not fun. A 2nd downside was that the villa is not really quiet. It is next to a busy road and you can also hear the cars racing by at night. But....this was not a problem for us, mind you! After the whole day on the slopes, you were dead tired anyway, so we slept wonderfully in the lovely beds! So we solved it and otherwise had a fantastic stay in this beautiful villa! But as a tip: never book more than 8 adults and 2 children.
