Mühlbach is one of the three villages (along with Dienten and Maria Alm) set against the stately 2941-metre-high mountain, the Hochkönig. The ski area of the same name is equipped with modern lifts and it is great for beginners as well as (advanced) skiers. You can even ski all the way to the village of Maria Alm via the Königstour. Cross-country skiing is, of course, also possible here. As the trails are located high up, they are easily passable even well into winter. In summer, the region transforms into a beautiful hiking and mountain biking area. Highly recommended for nature lovers!

Twelve of us stayed in Tauernsuit 4 and 5, very modern and nicely furnished and very clean. The terrace was lovely. We had a sunny side and a great view. The sauna is accessible at all times. During my three sessions, however, the temperature never exceeded 80°. The quadruple rooms were a bit small for four adults but we know each other well and made arrangements. The ski bus was easy to reach and it only took a few minutes to get to the ski area. The ski room was small, heated and had its own washing machines and heated boot racks. Overall, an accommodation that is highly recommended.
Great flat with a great view and lots of space. Modern and clean. The sauna was also excellent and mostly free just for us.
Lovely spacious homes, beautiful views. We did miss some cutlery and there was not enough space for all skis and ski boots. Not all beds were made and towels too short. But was solved quickly.

It was a very nice accommodation and our wishes were quickly taken care of. We will gladly come a third time!
