After a fun day in the region, you can fully relax in the private sauna. Ski equipment can be stored in the storage room. All the ingredients for an unforgettable time are present!
The lodge is on the edge of the beautiful village of Wald-Köningsleiten, in a quiet location right by the cross-country ski trail and the Hohe Tauern National Park. The centre within walking distance houses several restaurants and shops. Every morning you can get fresh rolls from the local bakery here.
Wald-Königsleiten is located between 3 famous ski areas: the Zillertal Arena, Wildkogel Arena and the Kitzbühel ski area. The Zillertal Arena and Kitzbühel ski areas are ideal for holidaymakers who want to cover many kilometres on the slopes. The Wildkogel Arena ski area, on the other hand, is ideal for families with children. Bramberg is home to Europe's longest winter toboggan run.
There is also plenty to do in the region in summer. Its location right next to the national park makes it ideal for hiking and mountain biking through the typical Austrian nature. If you are a real water rat, take a dip in the public Kristall pool. You will also find a number of (mini) golf courses

Kitchen urgently needs to be better equipped. Bought 6 glasses and peeler ourselves and left them there. No usable spatula, rather poorly equipped overall. We completely cleaned the dishwasher ourselves, bought detergent and topped it up. The dishwashing performance was not there before. Cleaning agents were left in the house. On arrival the cleanliness was acceptable but could be improved. Bathrooms ok clean, showers rather not sufficiently cleaned, toilets well, stairs were not vacuumed, there was rubbish under the beds and in the cupboards. A larger clothes horse is advisable for drying clothes, so despite the good weather, the heaters had to be used in the second week. Overall a beautiful place with many possibilities.
When we arrived we noticed the dirt, rubbish in all the rooms, cutlery, crockery, sticky kitchen/dining floor, the shower had strange yellow/brown stains on the floor, pans in the cupboards were dirty. Fridge was full of yellow dirt. Dishwasher full of crockery... The walls were full of swatted flies, really disgusting. Leftover rubbish from previous tenants in cupboards, under the bed and sofa. Three out of four drains were blocked... We reported this and the next afternoon someone came to clear up the pending issues. We were out of the house when this was done. When we came back some things had been done, but definitely not cleaned! There was no enquiry from the owners, so I think the state of hygiene and cleanliness is fine for them. We find it an imposition. If I'd had a small child and a 70-year-old grandmother with me, I would have gone.
Nice house with plenty of features, but sparse kitchen equipment. Few cutlery, crockery and glassware.
- Lodge was fine in terms of size and layout. - Neat and well finished. - Bathrooms complete and well-kept. - Beds lovely. - Great location in Pinzgau Tal - Great parking Cottage is definitely recommended !
Everything is amazing and I enjoyed every moment
Great chalet with every luxury in beautiful surroundings. A great base for several day trips.
