The chalet's location is perfect, close to the Riesneralm valley station, yet deep in nature next to a babbling brook. In winter, a thick layer of snow covers the Donnersbachtal and turns it into a winter fairytale. You have two ski areas on your doorstep, with 50 km of slopes: the Riesneralm and the Planneralm, the highest ski village in Styria.
On holiday with the kids? Then head to the children's ski area at Riesneralm. If you don't feel like skiing for a day, you can visit the natural toboggan run or the cross-country trails. And in summer, the fun continues. You can test your skills on the challenging 3D archery course, let the adrenaline flow in the E-Enduro Bikepark, or relax at the swimming pond. But the real spectacle awaits at the top of the mountain: a heated pool at 1900 metres, where you will be surrounded by breathtaking 360-degree views

We stayed in the house with 8 people aged between 8 and 60. The space is completely sufficient. The house is on the edge of the chalet village and therefore only has one neighbouring chalet. WLAN works excellently. The Finnish sauna and the hot tube in the garden added a touch of spa to our holiday. An all-round top equipped, clean and stylishly furnished house with plenty of space in the house and garden. Our group (family) unanimously agreed that we would do something like this again. We can recommend a stay at Chalet Sperlingsnest 100% with a clear conscience.
We had a wonderful stay in the holiday home. Everything was great - from the furnishings to the cleanliness. The landlords are very nice and helpful, you immediately feel at home. The hot tub is definitely the highlight and makes for perfect relaxation. The location is also very nice and ideal for relaxing. We would love to come back!
The chalet is very nice, practical and well equipped. The sauna is a big plus after a good day's skiing. The fireplace creates a wonderful atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it. This is the second year in a row we have stayed here.

The house is almost perfect in terms of furnishing and equipment, partly due to its new condition. The minus point (in winter) is the inaccessibility of the private parking space due to the combination of unpaved road, snow and ongoing construction work.
