This holiday apartment for a maximum of 5 people is located on the first floor of an authentic house on a hill in Ferlach in Carinthia, directly in the beautiful Bodental at an altitude of about 1100 meters in the sunny south of Austria and only 25 minutes from Klagenfurt and the famous Wörthersee.

The fully furnished apartment has a living/dining room, a separate well-equipped kitchen, 2 spacious bedrooms, a bathroom with bathtub and can be reached via an external staircase in the garden. You can use the garden and a very large, covered terrace of about 44 m2. There is also a grill. You can park directly at the house.

Ferlach is located in the Carnica Region Rosental. The well-known Meerauge nature reserve is on the doorstep, and there are also many hiking routes in Ferlach and the surrounding area. In winter it is possible to go on a ski tour from the house. As a winter sports enthusiast, you can also use the small family ski area Bodental-Unterbergen with 2 kilometers of slopes and 4 lifts/cable cars 1.5 km away, which also has a ski school. The idyllic bathing pond in Reßnig is ideal for swimming in summer.

In the area you will find the Tscheppaschlucht with a wonderful climbing park. You can also quickly visit Slovenia as part of a day trip.

Directly in Ferlach or in Klagenfurt there are enough shops for your daily needs as well as a good selection of restaurants.

Holiday stay in a very nice quiet place. Private entrance with fenced garden which is ideal for our dogs. Cottage itself is quite dated but that was known. Beds are good and plenty of clean towels available. A point of criticism is that the house was not really clean and is too full of old kitchen materials and many unnecessary things throughout the apartment. The kitchen takes the cake, which it was really not clean and crammed too full with all kinds of old used equipment. Oven and stove were renewed and usable. Furthermore, the area is beautiful and wonderfully quiet. You only hear the bells of the cows. Beautiful hiking trails in the area.

A very nice environment, friendly people. The cottage is dated, everything is neatly present, nothing wrong with that. It's just all old. Many possible hiking trails, again the area is really beautiful!

We spent a very nice holiday in beautiful surroundings. The landlords were very friendly. We liked that you had much contact with locals and everyone was very nice. The accommodation is clean and you have everything you need. We and our dogs have felt very good. It is ideal for hiking.

We have two pleasant weeks in the house Ella. The owners were super friendly and welcoming. Every question was answered with pleasure. The house is not modern but it is clean and you have everything you need to cook (good oven, good ceramic plates). There is no microwave and dishwasher but we have missed. The setting is stunning and if you like walking, this is the place to be. Many walks can start from the house. It is blissfully quiet and you only hear the bells of the cows and the crickets. Our dog has fully enjoyed this holiday. One drawback is that you do to Ferlach need for proper shop (spar). Best so that you eat all that entails for the first day or so is due in a timely manner so that you can still go to the store (1/2 hour drive). Near the house is a guesthouse Serreinig where you can eat decent and tasty. Especially the lamb is delicious. We had a nice holiday. The weather was fine. Keep in mind that the "evening from 18 you very quickly cools, and you need a sweater. If you like a schnapps, this will take care of heating). This house and surrounding area is not really suitable to adolescents to to go. Z

It was nice weather is against nature. The apartment was at the beds were not good, Hospitality was good.But the apartment has definitely need a boy to turn.

Our holiday was very relaxing. One lives very secluded and has direct and fantastic hiking opportunities. For our 2 dogs it was dreamlike. Enclosed garden and covered terrace. The toilet was separate from the washing and Duschraum.Wlan reception was a little weak for my phone, the mattresses were on innerspring base and not quite optimal, but it was clean and the host family was very nice and zuvorkommend.Für dogs and nature lovers great!
