Charming chalet near the famous ski resorts
Wald im Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
The lodge is one of the luxurious semi-detached lodges on the edge of the beautiful village of Wald-Köningsleiten. It is a halfway house, divided into three floors with a modern, cosy look that offers you every luxury. On the ground floor you will find 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Upstairs is a cosy living room with a comfortable interior including a huge corner sofa and an open kitchen. The large French doors provide stunning views of the mountains. Here is the balcony, where you can enjoy a drink, have breakfast or enjoy the peace and quiet at a cosy round table with 4 chairs. In the other corner, a cosy nook with 2 bucket seats. Here, too, a cosy atmosphere has been created with an eye for detail. There is also a bedroom cum bathroom on this floor.
Want to relax after an active day? There is a private sauna with rain shower in the basement, including 2 reclining chairs and a bench to relax and unwind.
In the basement is also the ski room and you have access to a table football game, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Wald- Königsleiten is situated between three famous ski areas. The Zillertal Arena, Wildkogel Arena and the Kitzbühel ski area. The Zillertal Arena and the Kitzbühel ski area are ideal for those who want to cover many kilometres on the slopes. In contrast, the Wildkogel Arena ski area is ideal for families with children. Are you a lover of cross-country skiing? Right by the chalet is the 200 km cross-country skiing network of the Pinzgau valley. In winter, this whole valley is fantastic and has plenty of beauty to offer, such as the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area in Kaprun. Bramberg is home to Europe's longest winter toboggan run.
There is also plenty to do in the summer in this region. Due to its location right next to the national park, Hohe Tauern, this location lends itself perfectly to many beautiful hikes or mountain bike tours.
A babbling brook flows behind the garden. Here you can cool off or take a dip in the Kristall pool if you are a real water rat.
Just a stone's throw away are the famous Krimmler waterfalls. These are Europe's largest waterfalls with an impressive fall height of 380 metres and are among the sixth highest in the world.
But also the most beautiful car trips can be made over, for example, the beautiful Gerlos Pass or the Grossglockner (3798 m high).
