Chalet in Finkenstein / Carinthia on Lake Faak

This beautiful detached wooden chalet with a garden for a maximum of 6 people is located in the town of Finkenstein on Lake Faaker See in Carinthia, quietly located in a district with a few other chalets and with direct access to a small beach on Lake Faaker See.
The chalet is new and very nicely furnished, it offers a total of 3 bedrooms, a large bathroom with washing machine, a spacious living room with dining table, an open fully equipped kitchen, a carport and a beautiful garden with a pond.
The chalet is about 4 km from Lake Faak (with free access to a small beach with sanitary facilities and a beach buffet), and a good 1 km from Lake Aichwald. Lake Ossiach is also not far away.
Finkenstein am Faaker See is located in the Villach-Land district, right in the border triangle of Austria, Italy and Slovenia, not far from Villach. By car you can reach the very popular town of Velden am Wörthersee in about 1 hour. In winter, the Gerlitzen Alpe ski area with almost 70 kilometers of pistes is available, and the Dreiländereck Arnoldstein ski area with 17 kilometers of pistes is a possible alternative. Klagenfurt Airport can be reached in approx. 44 km.
This is a top holiday area in Austria with endless possibilities for a wonderful sun or winter sports holiday.
Directly in Finkenstein there are plenty of shopping opportunities for your daily needs as well as a good selection of restaurants.

Nicely decorated little house. Cleaning could have been a little better
Very modern and nicely furnished house, good facilities and a quiet location. You are very well connected by car and in 5 minutes at the Faakersee and supermarkets. Aichwaldsee, where there is also a small beach, can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. The private lake access, as in the photos, was not accessible to us, but only a small meadow next to it with a few steps into the lake. In return, however, we were offered that the entry costs for a lido will be covered. The house is very well equipped (kitchen appliances, hair dryer, iron, ..) and the beds (2 double beds and 1 single bed) are very comfortable. Only the 6th bed, the pull-out couch was a bit hard. The walls are very (!) Thin, you can hear everything that happens in the next room or above / below or when someone gets up and walks on the stairs. We received a friendly welcome from the hosts and they could be reached by phone if we needed anything.
Route well signposted. Kindly received by neighbor Franz. Next morning Markus gave us all kinds of tips and info. Private beach was NOT accessible. Here the owner left us in the cold. We then submitted a complaint to Belvilla. It is a wooden house. Although it is new, everything creaks and squeaks.
The house was very great in terms of equipment and space. Also totally nicely decorated. Only the cleanliness is something to complain about.
Beautiful and attractive house in a beautiful setting and close to the winter sports area of the Gerlizen. The house is fully equipped. The Fahkersee is a beautiful lake and gives beautiful images in the evening sun.
The house is very well equipped, we did not miss anything. The welcome was a bottle of wine on the table and the area around Lake Faaker is spectacular!
We were received very nicely by the steward. The accommodation is very well equipped and has a very quiet location. Nevertheless, the accommodation is very central. It's fast on Lake Faak, on the Wörthersee, on the Ossiacher See and also on the Millstätter See. The private beach on Faaker See, to which one has access, is very well arranged and maintained. A small problem, however, is the parking near the lake.
