Beautiful chalet with private sauna

This beautiful chalet (semi-detached) offers stunning views of the 3,073-metre-high Wildkarspitze. It concerns the right side of the accommodation decorated in modern Alpine style. Enjoy a cosy get-together in the living room and prepare your favourite dishes in the fully equipped open-plan kitchen. You will fully unwind in the modern sauna and the balcony is the ideal place for a relaxing end to the day. Fantastic!
This beautiful chalet is located on the border of Tyrol and Salzburgerland, in the cosy village of Wald im Pinzgau. Its central location between 2 famous ski areas means you can reach the Zillertal Arena in about 12 car minutes and the Wildkogel Arena in 7 car minutes. For a small surcharge, you have access to both ski areas on 1 ski pass. Both ski areas are ideal for families with children. The more experienced skier will also enjoy the wide carving slopes, and during a beautiful day ski tour through the high mountains from Hochkrimml via Königsleiten and Gerlos to Zell am Ziller. The real winter sports fanatic purchases the Salzburg Superskikarte, which gives access to as many as 2,700 km of pistes. Trips to the Kitzbühler Alps (15 minutes), Kaprun, Zell am See and the famous Saalbach-Hinterglemm are also well worthwhile.
This region is also known as a perfect summer area and has even won awards for it. There are several fun excursions for all ages, including a visit to the nearby, famous Krimmler waterfalls and the stunning reservoir near Königsleiten. Are you more into action? The Hohe Tauern is Europe's largest protected nature reserve and offers a true mountain paradise for hikers and mountain bikers. There is also plenty to do for small children. The Wildkogel Arena is home to a hiking trail with 10 large slides. And how about the Mountain Carts with which you can race down the mountain?

Quiet location, with the ski bus stop close by.
The house had all the comforts and we felt very comfortable there.
Beautiful house with a great view of the mountains. The rooms are very clean and the hosts helpful as well as friendly.
It is a wonderfully comfortable house with a friendly Dutch owner willing to help and advise. We were with 7 people, ample privacy in terms of bedrooms for everyone, maybe a bit small living room for 7 people at the time of staying in the house due to e.g. weather conditions. Nice storage space for skis and accessories. Lovely sauna to use, sandwich service at the door is ideal, nice walking area for people who do not ski. Nice view from the house, fairly quiet location. Aprés ski possibilities only at distance with car. Lifts Hoogh Krimml/Duxeralm about 15 min by car, Gerlos 25 min by car. There is a ski bus but we did not use it.
Everything excellent, wonderful house and super nice contact person and landlord on site.
The house is very nice and equipped with everything. The bathrooms are very modern and nice and big, also the sauna is TOP. The bedrooms are rather small and you have to know that the mattresses are almost all only 80cm wide. We were 5 adults, 1 toddler and a dog and found the place perfect. What is very positive is the owners, a really great couple who try very hard and want to have satisfied guests.
The bedrooms are very small, beds very narrow, hardly any coat hooks, no towel rails in the bathrooms, a bit too cramped for six people. Nice landlords on site.
It was just as we had imagined it.
A very well maintained and quietly situated lodge with very nice owners who live next door. The lodge is very well furnished and lovingly decorated.
